2013 Audi TT - Fun yet not reliable

While the horsepower was adequate, for the price it did not seem like a very powerful car. It felt like a very expensive Mazda Miata instead of like a BMW. It was beautiful, and everyone admired it, yet it seemed like an entry level luxury car instead of a real luxury car. It never provided a smooth relaxing ride, and it never seemed to be ready to take on the curves and act like a sports car either. Mostly Audi made it to look good and not perform well, and that was my mistake in not realizing that when I bought it.
Story
I have a friend that runs the local small Christmas parade, and he was having trouble coming up with enough vehicles for the VIP's to ride in for the parade, and he asked me to use my car. I said yes, but only if I could be the driver. Driving along at 5 mph with the whole town waving and staring, it was a pretty unusual experience for me.
Pros
Putting the top down and driving slowly almost anywhere was fun, and I have never owned a car that got so much attention from other drivers and pedestrians. It was easy to clean because it was so small, and the gas mileage was pretty good. For short trips to the beach it was unbeatable to feel the breeze in your face on a beautiful day.
Cons
On long trips, the seat support was not what I was hoping for, and the road noise was a little annoying. While the gas mileage around town was OK, the highway mileage was not much better. Luggage or people capacity was definitely lacking which anyone can tell just by looking at it, but it was a problem on long trips. Reliability was not nearly as good as the Honda accords I have owned, and service was a little more expensive.

I am an owner of a 2005 Audi TT mk1. I must say this is the best car that I have ever purchased. I enjoy everything about this car from the inside out. The clutch in the 5 speed manual is like no clutch I have ever used before, it's very smooth, the car not only shifts and drives nice but the exterior of the car is amazing . This car is a head turner to say the least. Overall, if you're considering purchasing an Audi TT you will be a very satisfied customer. This car has amazing horse power, heated seats, amazing handling, it also has 4 wheel drive so don't let winter stop you from getting this sport car. In my opinion it's a baby brother of the Audi r8 .
Story
Driving to Florida from Minnesota and I did it in half the time due to the speed, and I also got a lot of heads turning from the look of the car.
Pros
Top things about this vehicle include the heated seats, great handling, affordable sports car, great for merging due to the turbo, easy to maintain, great exterior appearance and the paint never rusts.
Cons
The negatives are: small back seats, replacement parts are expensive, a lot of people won't work on Audis and company's charge more for foreign parts.

I got my Audi A4 roughly 6 months after it was on the market. I picked out a black one because it looked the sharpest. It rode beautifully on the highway, I could not have asked for a better vehicle. That is until it began to run ragged on me.
Story
I loved riding around in my Audi because all the women wanted a ride with me. My Audi was sweet, and everyone loved it!
Pros
I really liked the auto dimming door mirrors, that made driving so much easier at night and not only that, the door mirrors were heated which was great for when it was cold and foggy, I never had any issues seeing in the rain or snow. The gas mileage on my Audi was amazing! I got 30 to 35 miles per gallon, I figured i'd get 20 to 25, but 35?! I absolutely loved it. I liked the steering wheel mounted audio controls and I really liked the maintenance feature which alerted me when I needed to refill any fluids, or if I had low tires.
Cons
When my issues began, it was nearly impossible to find parts, I had to do my own parts search online to even find any. NO mechanics within 100 miles of where I live would work on an Audi. No one had any knowledge on Audi because it is foreign. The parts for an Audi are ridiculously priced. They are double the price of standard vehicles such as ford, Chevy, etc.
