2012 Audi A3 -
I have owned this car for just under 2 years now, having ordered the model as soon as it was officially released in July 2012. Overall, I'd say that the car is well designed and handles well on the road, and the engine is just powerful enough and strikes the right balance between power and efficiency (expect around 475 miles on a tank of fuel). Additionally, the cabin is good quality (decent plastics and neat metal touches) and seats and driving position are both comfortable. I opted for a few extras, such as the MMI system and B&O sound system, cruise control and hill-hold - whilst not cheap, if you can stretch to these they will make all the difference.

My girlfriend and 2 other friends took a road trip down to her family's cabin in Kansas. My greatest memory is just the music and the general feel of being on the road.

Bought this to replace my 2.0 Petrol VW Scirocco (uninsurable for my 17 year old son!). Have found it surprisingly nippy for a 1.4 Engine, and it zips round corners pretty well. Getting 40 mpg which is good for me (30mpg in the Scirocco!). Stylish interior, excellent manual gearbox, comfortable seating position, very easy to use MMI system and decent sound.

However, my biggest criticism of this car is its reliability. I rely on the car for commuting and business driving, but it's been off the road on around 4 occasions to date aside from servicing and recalls. Around 3 months after I took delivery, the starter motor packed in. Audi replaced this noting that it shouldn't have failed on such a new car. Then, the MMI system broke. Again, another trip to the dealership was required. Now, the start-stop has broken (most likely another starter motor fault as it experiences the same symptoms as before) and there's a fault on the clutch. It's still u... (more)

It's still under warranty so should be covered by Audi but it's extremely frustrating when your car sticks in gear or cuts out and can't be restarted in heavy traffic.
In conclusion, this is a well-designed car but mine is unreliable.
2014 Audi A3 - Super hot horse power
I am delighted with this vehicle which looks stunning internally and externally. The detailed finish is superb and as expected from Audi. The 6 speed gearbox is slick whilst the 150 TDi engine gives effortless powerful acceleration especially in the mid range of speed. Sports suspension is stiff but not uncomfortable even for an older driver, the reward being excellent handling. Reasonably roomy too.

2017 Audi A3 - Affordable, comfortable, and sporty. All three of these adjectives can be applied to the 2019 Audi A3. And, as Audi fans will already know, you should expect nothing less from this superstar German automaker. But what precisely makes this year's line-up s
The base trim's price. The most obvious reason that people will want to purchase the 2019 Audi A3 is the base trim's affordable price tag. Starting at the lower end of $30k, the Audi A3 does have a competitive MSRP that gives it an edge over other luxury sedans. Of course, the higher up you go in trim levels, the more expensive the car will become. Still, it is one of the more reasonably-priced models out there, and it proves to be a good deal with how many features come standard. The Convenience package. If you end up going for the base trim, you will probably want to equip the Convenience Package. This package includes features like keyless engine start and stop, LED lighting for the interior, window surrounds formed in high-gloss aluminum, and Audi side assist. The package doesn't p... (more)

If you end up going for the base trim, you will probably want to equip the Convenience Package. This package includes features like keyless engine start and stop, LED lighting for the interior, window surrounds formed in high-gloss aluminum, and Audi side assist. The package doesn't pack too much bigger of a price tag on to the vehicle, and the features that included are really nice to have. It will save you from spending more money on a higher trim level just to get these features as standard. Swift acceleration. The 2019 Audi A3 is a remarkably quick little sedan. It can go from 0 to 60 mph in just under 6 seconds thanks to its turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. There is only a small moment of hesitation right at the beginning, but once you get past it, everything is smooth sailing. Also, the all-wheel drive versions have impeccable road grip, which is helpful for speeding up and slowing down.
Speaking of the Audi A3's brakes, they are strong and feel secure. You can make a panic stop from 60 mph in just about 118 feet, which is pretty short for this segment. (Of course, the Audi A4's 99 feet is even more mind-blowing.) This just goes to show how much thought Audi has put into making their vehicles secure and in giving their drivers peace of mind. Steering also has a precise feeling on the 2019 Audi A3. It is controlled and effortless under all circumstances, but it does give the driver just the right amount of feedback from the road. Steering also has a precise feeling on the 2019 Audi A3. It is controlled and effortless under all circumstances, but it does give the driver just the right amount of feedback from the road. You can take this little luxury sedan on steep and winding roadways and still feel secure behind the wheel. No matter how you drive it or what road surface you take it on, the Audi A3 definitely inspires confidence. To make the driving performance all the more engaging, Audi has given the A3 some seriously impressive handling capabilities. As we already mentioned, the all-wheel drive system keeps a solid grip on the road surface throughout all kinds of maneuvers. The vehicle itself has a sporty and light feeling while rounding through curves. The suspension is well-tuned, creating a strong sense of balance and sturdiness for the vehicle. Overall, the driving performance is well-rounded and exciting.
