Have had my RS5 since new and am loving every single moment of it. Very smooth well put together car with a luxury feel. I love the response of the paddle shift gearbox matted to the 4.2 V8 and man does it make an excellent sound. The standard five-spoke wheels outline the look of the car excellently and amplify the overall appearance. Drivability is fantastic, and when I loan it out to others they have the same response, it's just easy to drive. As side from the Imola red interior, my favorite detail is the available D shaped steering wheel; it makes driving a sports car that much more exhilarating. Glad to be driving a performance sports car with a brutal V8.
Story
This is my beach car, so if your looking for a really enjoyable car to take to the coast or mountain roads, this car would fit the bill.
Pros
Looks, Performance and handling, the perfect package for me. Love the MMI settings, especially the three different drive modes.
Cons
Audio system can be tough to navigate through if you are not familiar with it.

The Audi RS5 is what happens when you give the gang at Quattro GmbH, Audi’s in-house performance division, a long leash and an open checkbook. While it shares its basic silhouette with the comparatively pedestrian A5/S5 coupe, the RS5 is an entirely different beast.
Story
On winding roads or racetracks, the RS 5 starts with the confident high-speed demeanor of its lesser siblings and cranks it to 11. There's a real sense of invincibility: Just plant your right foot mid-corner and let the magical V8 and Quattro all-wheel drive system sort out the rest.
Pros
At the top of the list is the engine. While the rest of the world continues to lean on forced induction to compensate for shrinking displacement and dwindling cylinder counts, the RS5’s 450-hp 4.2-liter V-8 stands as a textbook example of naturally aspirated performance. I am also fond of the exterior’s understated elegance, the supportive and comfortable seats, and the fact that the rear seats are actually large enough for genuine humans, for short trips anyway. The electric power steering setup was one of the best on the market.
Cons
I'd be lying if I said I wouldn’t want to experience the RS5 with manual transmission bolted to its lusty V-8.

This RS5 is some car. Performance, handling, comfort and the sheer pleasure of driving this car is something you will want to experience. The RS5 has that smile factor. If you are looking for a high performance luxury car, you will find it in the RS5.
Pros
But when I went just to look at Audi and got a test drive in the RS5, it was game over. This car is like nothing else for the money I have experienced.
Cons
The M3 is a great driving car with a track pedigree, excellent handling and balance, powerful V8 engine, and a blast to drive. The M3 is much more of a performance car with a high-strung personality.
