2000 BMW 5 Series - BMW - Ultimate Driving Machine
I love my BMW because it is so much fun to drive.
Story
I have avoided being t-boned in an accident because the car is so quick and maneuverable.
Pros
Even though it is 16 years old, my BMW has had very few problems and runs great. It is extremely responsive and quickly accelerates. I love to drive this car in the mountains because it handles so well. The seats are very comfortable and adjust to many positions. There is a sensor that alerts you when the outside temperature is below 37 degrees because of black ice dangers. There are monitors that tell how many miles per gallon and how much further before a fill up is absolutely necessary. The windshield wipers automatically detect when to go.
Cons
The emergency signal is in a very bad place. It is on the console just under the emergency brake. This is troublesome because when I take my dogs for a ride one of them usually sits here and sets off the flashers.
Also the drink holders are useless, they only hold a small drink.
The only other real con is the price of parts & repairs. My uncle says BMW means Break My Wallet. For example windshield wipers cost nearly $75.
2000 BMW 5 Series - My baby.
I liked the style of this car. It made me feel happy just to see it parked outside.
Story
the most memorable story I have is when I crashed it. I was so devastated. it felt like I had lost my best friend. but it did save my life I could have died. another memory I have is just riding around it in with my girls.
Pros
The pros of this car is that it has a very smooth feel when riding on the road. it is as if I am floating on a cloud of smooth pavement.
Cons
The only thing that I didn't like about this car is that it auto locks if key is being turned wrong way. being that it was a used car I did not understand how to fix that problem.
