The 2014 BMW X5 is a favorite. Garnering praise for its athletic handling, powerful engines, and luxurious interior. Seating in two rows is spacious and comfortable, but cargo space is limited, and the optional third row is not adult-friendly. This lovely car has three powerful turbocharged engines to choose from, starting with a potent standard six-cylinder in the 35i-designated models.
Story
Once my wife and I was driving Oregon to California (it is lovely car for long driving. I can not get enough driving it). It is long story, but I cannot share the details. All I can say is that when it became dark, we had a dinner in a restaurant, and my wife and I slept in the car.
Pros
Safety: The BMW Assist program is an emergency communication feature that provides automatic crash warnings, roadside assistance and recovery options in the event that the vehicle is stolen. Antilock Brakes, Automatic Brake Drying, Stability and Traction Control, Automatic Anti-Collision Braking, Blind Spot Notification.
Cons
The 2014 BMW X5 does boast seating for up to seven; those expecting to pack in seven adults may need to look elsewhere. The optional third row only provides enough room to accommodate two additional child passengers; however, this is not entirely unusual for a mid-size SUV.

I love the way this car performs. It's like driving a sports car but an SUV. I would definitely recommend getting the M or M-sport. Well worth the extra money.
Story
I let a friend of mines wife drive the car. She was ecstatic about the driving experience. It was memorable to me that she enjoyed it so much.
Pros
Extremely smooth ride and the performance is unmatched. The exterior is attractive and eye catching. You see people giving your vehicle a look almost everywhere you drive. First time having a full-time, all-wheel drive vehicle, and it really helps at distributing the power of the vehicle properly. Also allows for better traction during inclement weather conditions. I have heard some complaints about the ride on the run flat tires, but the suspension is so great that I have not had any issues with the ride. Another item is really like if that oil changes are only necessary once per ye... (more)
Cons
The vehicle takes a minute or so to warm up but not that big of an issue. I have experience a few maintenance issues, but they have all been covered by the maintenance plan that was purchased.
