Great gas mileage and road handling. Steering feel is a little bit vague compared to the older BMW's. But steering feel is still better than most other SUVs... other than the Cayenne. Tech package is great. Screen can't be stowed, but can be turned off. Lots of storage and the noise level is very quiet on the highway. Not a cheap car but you get what you pay for and it's definitely more reliable than the Porsche.
Story
Beautiful car, great ride, although you do feel bumps to a degree. Not as plush a ride as Lexus or Lincoln. Car not made for short people who are 5'1", but I can work around it. Car is my husband's car, and fits him well. Hard for me to see over high dash on driver's side, hard to get out of car without bruising back of calves (but salesman showed me the trick on how short people can get out m... (more)
Pros
Potent and efficient engines; luxurious and comfortable interior; huge list of features; steadfast high-speed stability.
Cons
Third-row seat is strictly for little kids; higher price than many competing luxury crossover SUVs.

The car is very solid with great material. Very luxury look inside and outside. The car is very good in long road trip as the passenger seats are spacious. The driver is in full control despite the large size.
Story
We pumped regular, and we were told by the gas person not to. This is funny as we obviously donÕt know how the bill is coming to be so large in the future. The person is nice to teach us a lesson on how to maintain the car and take good care using good quality gas.
Pros
The car looks really good, especially with blue or black color. The car goes very fast with acceleration, close to a Tesla-type vehicle. BMW has done a fine job in making one of the best cars in its lineup competing in the general market. There is no better SUV compared to the 2016 X5.
Cons
The car takes a lot of gas and is not very efficient in gas mileage, especially driving local roads. However, the car is good on highway driving, but it can add up very quickly if used as a daily commute vehicle. The big size of the car also makes it difficult to park sometimes.
