Roseville, CA Driving Tips
If you're going to be passing through during dinner time and like Japanese food, I recommend Susumu Japanese Steak House. It's very similar to Benihana whereas the food is prepared at your table. The food is really good and the prices are reasonable and it's located in a mini mall on Douglas Blvd.
Roseville, CA Buying Tips
There are two many places that people shop for cars in Roseville. One is the Roseville Auto Mall which has quite a few different dealerships. They sell new and newer used cars. The other is Riverside Blvd. Which is home to several used car lots.
Favorite driving memory
This would be when we first moved here. We had only been to the area twice. Both times were to look at homes. When we first moved here, we had such a fun time exploring the area. Our kids were really young at the time so the first time we went diving around, it was looking for fun places to take the kids. We found a couple of movie theaters, a water park, roller skating rink and lots of parks. We had moved from a crowded area and liked that in Roseville, it didn't nearly have the traffic that the Bay Area did. This enhanced the driving around experience. In our first drive out, we also went shopping as we needed many things for the house. We were impressed by how many businesses had kids stations. We weren't used to that where we used to live. We were exploring a whole new world. The kids had a lot of fun driving around, too, as they looked forward to going to all of the new places they saw on the drive.
Favorite road
Douglas Blvd.. It's one of the main roads in the city. If you like shopping or eating out, you can find quite a variety of businesses to visit. From fast food to nice sit down dinners, there are plenty of choices. There are lots of small boutique shops along with a large used book store, sporting goods shop, grocery store, veterinarians, gas stations, etc. It's particularly pretty during the holidays when the Christmas tree lots are put up and the different businesses put out their holiday lights and decorations.

Roseville, CA Driving Tips
A tip I would give to anyone driving through Roseville is to try to time your travel outside of rush hour times. Traffic can get backed up leading to and from the interstate, but will thin out as you make your way to the residential areas of the city.
Roseville, CA Buying Tips
I would recommend purchasing a vehicle that can operate well in the snow and has traction control. When it rains in Roseville, the roads will be slick from the oil on the roads. When that happens, a lot of people have accidents because of poor traction. Also, the areas surrounding Roseville has some steep roads due to the close location the Sierra Nevada mountain range, chose a vehicle that can handle the steep inclines.
Favorite driving memory
A driving highlight in Roseville is the easy access to the interstate. Additionally, there are several shopping centers that are designed to be open air markets allowing patrons to drive through. I have found the traffic in this area to moderate throughout the day and heavy during normal rush hour times.
Favorite road
Standford Ranch Road. Stanford Ranch road is a main road through town that provides access to other main arteries in the city as well as the interstate. The road is fairly well maintained and has multiple shopping, restaurant and event locations.
