Stockton, CA Driving Tips
Know where you are going. The freeway exchanges can be dicey, so plan accordingly. Watch out for reckless drivers. Make sure to have gps handy.
Stockton, CA Buying Tips
Get something that is safe and not too flashy. Also remember to consider fuel economy as there are plenty of affordable options.
Favorite driving memory
Strange feeling to see how remote the city is, and highly industrial. The 5 freeway took us through and gave a profile glimpse at the crowded yet limited cityscape. The main traffic along this route trucks as can be expected.
Favorite road
12. A great stretch of road that leads to a rare glimpse into the California delta land. The remote living along the marshes actually reminded me quite a bit of remote parts of Florida I had visited as a child. There are also some excellent bridges possibly mid to late 1960's or even 1970's. The best of all however, is an impressive exhibit of a wind turbine farm.

Be extra careful because I have witnessed many accidents.
Stockton, CA Buying Tips
The best way to buy a car is through one of the many auto auctions that are located near here.
Favorite driving memory
While driving downtown one morning I saw the many police officers on one block near the bus depot. At first I thought it was a drug enforcement action, but then realized they were giving out food and clothes to the homeless.
Favorite road
Interstate 5. The part of I5 near my home is particularly beautiful with many trees and lush landscaping. I also like it because the speed limit goes from 55 to 70 mph.
