The 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt is a four door sedan of great value. The car is economical in terms of gas. I like how a tank of gas is able to last the entire week. The car overall was purchased at a decent price at the time of purchased and no major mechanical problems have arisen since purchased. Overall, it was a good purchased.
Story
A memorable story using this vehicle was when I used the car to drive with some friends to the beach.
Pros
The best part of the car is the cost when it comes to maintaining it. Apart from its regular oil change and scheduled maintenance, it is an affordable fix. Fuel mileage is decent in terms of the model year. The trunk is quite spacious; not much difficulty in having to figure ways to fit in items. Engine does not make too noise.
Cons
However, the 2006 Cobalt does have some drawbacks. The battery is located in the back of the trunk. This is somewhat inconvenient for when the battery needed replacement. The car needed to be manually pushed to face be able to have the jump cables reach. Also, the wiper blades are not the best. There are always streaks on the window regardless of which brand is installed. Also, the stereo is not of the best quality. Sometimes just static is heard when the radio is turned on. Also, the car should have been electric instead of manual for easier operation.

The car is fun to drive. There are a lot of accessories available to make it truly your own. The car is quick and loves curvy roads. The brakes are top notch. The interior leaves something to be desired, as it is obviously been cheaped out on—being nasty plastic. The seats do grab you, however.
Story
There are some fun curvy roads around here that are very fun to drive on. One time an older man was following me rather closely before one of these roads, and I thought he was angry or having road rage. So I went relatively fast through the curvy road to try and lose him. When he caught up on the next road, his face was full of happiness and he gave me a big thumbs up. It brightened my day.
Pros
Quick and handles well. Comfortable seats and lots of aftermarket parts. It has never left me stranded or died on me. The trunk is much larger than it looks, and the stereo is great. The car looks great and the rims are nice.
Cons
The interior looks and feels cheap. It's all plastic and very outdated. The seats aren't electric. The rear passenger compartment is very tight. The car has had a variety of check engine lights that have taken some time to get taken care of properly.

They were timely with assistance and responsive when we asked questions. We used my spouse's company benefits program when purchasing and they made the process very smooth.
