Although I did not finally buy my car at this dealership, they were very helpful in showing me cars based on my price range and needs. The staff seemed very friendly but not "overly friendly" and gave me some time to look around the lot by myself without pressuring me to buy anything. That is what really stuck out the most for me. The freedom to think by myself for awhile without feeling pressured to buy anything was very nice.

Their was no second guessing anything with them. They made the whole thing very comfortable. answered every question i had. They checked other dealerships around the area selling the same vehicle to make sure that i wasn't over paying. and when it came to credit they did a lot of going back and forth with the banks to get me the deal that i wanted.

Jay Buick made the process of buying a car comfortable. Their facilities were top notch. The customer service they provide is excellent. The quality of their work is so good that I was actually pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed the car buying experience at Jay Buick. Now, that is definitely something I never thought would happen to me.

They were willing to get the exact car I wanted. They called back when they said they were going to. The car was ready when they said it would be. The incentives and prices they provided were competitive. They were able to get me financing that fit my budget.

The staff here is very personable. While I didn't buy a car from them they made the process very fun. I like their cleanliness and organization. I like Honda as a brand on it's own. I feel that I can trust them with my car buying needs.

Cleveland, OH Driving Tips
Traffic is not bad in Cleveland, though there are parts--like on the interstates near the East Side--where rush hour traffic can be very congested. You will only move along at a snail's pace if you get caught up in that traffic. Downtown has pretty wide, expansive streets and traffic moves pretty sw ... (more)
Cleveland, OH Buying Tips
We have plenty of 'auto miles' in and around the city in the suburbs, where there are a lot of dealers clumped together--one in particular that's popular is the Bedford Auto Mile. Craigslist has a lot of listings for cars, too. We have a lot of private sellers just like any big city. I didn't buy my ... (more)
Favorite Driving Memory
In Cleveland, there are many routes to take downtown from where I live. I enjoy finding new routes to get downtown. Some routes go through busy streets with a lot of traffic and stop lights--these are hard to navigate but if you're not in a hurry you get to see so many interesting places and people. ... (more)
Favorite Road
Route 2/Shoreway - As explained above, the Shoreway has a great view on either side, especially right after you first get on it off of Clifton on the west end. In very short time you have Lake Erie on your left and a huge, beautiful view of downtown Cleveland on your right. It can be very distracting, especially since ... (more)

Know the major byways. Most anywhere you need to get in Cleveland is near one. It is much easier to find your way around if you already know how to go most of the way, and only have to figure out the fiddly bits at the end.
Cleveland, OH Buying Tips
If I was in the market for a new car, I like AutoList better than Craigslist. As for physical places in Cleveland to go, I would say Lorain Avenue. There are a surprising amount of car dealers on that particular road.
Favorite Driving Memory
The first time I drove in Cleveland, I got lost. I had finally convinced my parents I could be trusted to take my little sister driving with me for a significant distance (Cleveland being about an hour away from where we lived at the time). So I was excited but nervous. The previous times I had been ... (more)

I am very partial to Route 20. - In all honesty, I like Route 20 because it is very difficult to get lost if one stays in its general vicinity. It goes by a lot of interesting commercial ventures, and it goes through Public Square. Additionally, if I stay on it, I can go right by my father's side street in Ashtabula, Ohio. I also c ... Cleveland, OH Driving Tips
Be aware of the safe areas as opposed to the dangerous ones. Don't roll your window down for anyone who just comes up and knocks on your window. The city is a friendly place but not all areas have friendly people who mean you well. Be aware of any turns or lane changes you need to make at least 1-3 ... (more)
Cleveland, OH Buying Tips
Drive to the outskirts of the city where there are lots of family friendly neighborhoods. There's many mom and pop type dealerships that have nice cars for a good price and they want the best for you as opposed to only wanting your money. Family oriented dealerships are the way to go; avoid big name ... (more)
Favorite Driving Memory
My favorite memory from driving in Cleveland is when I was going to a show at the Rock Hall of Fame. It was on a Monday, and for some reason ALL parking garages nearby were closed. Usually, I would stress out because I had just moved here and didn't know my way around well enough to know anywhere ne ... (more)
Favorite Road
Prospect Ave - It's got really easy lane changes and allows me to get ready to make a turn or reach my destination without having to abruptly stop. The traffic around this area isn't too bad even though it's located downtown. This street also has lots of parking options near restaurants and Union Square, which is ... (more)
