Used Mazda RX-8 for Sale

The sporty test drive on a curvy road told me everything I wanted to know - whether there was joy in the experience, and there was. The RX-8 has 4 seats, with suicide-style rear doors, and being a passenger in the back seat is no problem for an average-sized person. There was better view ability out the back windows versus other sporty vehicles I tested, a nice stereo system, cruise control for long drives, traction control to minimize wheel spin on slippery surfaces. Plus the car looks good and I loved the red color of the one I picked. But best of all it has a rotary engine, so a smooth power curve and less banging in the engine bay.

It is a fun car to drive. It handles very well. It is a very attractive vehicle. It is comfortable. The included options (navigation, etc) are very nice.

The car was purchased for the fun-to-drive factor. While the engine is not really powerful, the handling is superb and makes for a fun weekend racer on the track. The styling is sporty on the outside and the inside has good materials and fit and finish - comparable with other cars in its class. For being a "sporty" car, the back doors and rear seat are a nice bonus and the car is surprisingly roomy. Maintenance is the biggest downfall of the car. Reliability if the Rotary engine has always been questionable and my car has suffered the "usual" RX8 problems including a complete engine replacement under warranty. Gas mileage and oil usage is poor and would not recommend if a high mileage car is needed.
