Ups and downs
I've had some ups and downs with this vehicle. It's been the most reliable I've driven so far, but at the same time, it's also had some performance issues. It's also a great SUV for carrying groceries and larger pieces of furniture. You don't have to worry about objects flying away. For longer pieces that normally don't fit, you can also open the window hatch for greater expansion.
Red Bank, South Carolina
Of the different vehicles I have owned, this has been my favorite. At this point, it has over 250,000 miles on it and still runs as well as it did when I first bought it over three years ago. I have only had to make minor repairs in this time period. It handles really well in various conditions. The back seats fold down flat, creating a large storage area. I am able to fit two full-size bikes inside the back of the vehicle along with multiple tool boxes, eliminating the necessity of a bike rack for weekly trips to bike trails. The gas mileage is pretty good for a SUV of this year, at about 23 miles to the gallon. It comes with leather seats, which could definitely be a positive to some; however, my personal preference is cloth. There is a known issue with this model and year where the connections for the airbag sensor corrode, leading to the airbag service light randomly coming on when service is not actually needed. The factory radio stopped working about a year after I purchased it and had to be replaced; however the new radio sounds great with the factory speakers. In addition, the back three spark plugs are located underneath the intake manifold gasket, making replacing the back plugs difficult.
A to B car.
I bought this car as a family car back in 2012. The was used and had low miles. However, after I bought it, the car had an oil leak. The car has leaked for years and I can't get it repaired. The car will comfortably seat 4 people. It would be a great car for a small family. I mostly use the car to get to work. I also use it for my construction business. It does well with pulling a small trailer. The seats fold down to give a nice amount of flat space to hold all my tools. I would recommend this car again.
