The Honda Fit is a good economical car, it's sporty, zippy, and just a lot of fun. I have owned this car for five years now, and yes it's a pre-owned car, but the interior is well kept, the gas mileage is great, it had helped me with several different moves thanks to the handyness of the Fit for the clever way the seats fold down. I never knew that I would love a hatch back until I had this car. Its so handy to have it pop open and just place things at a nice level that I can reach. I'm pretty short, so the normal sedan trunks were always awkward for me to use. The roominess inside the car is surprising too. It is almost like a Tardis. You know, "Bigger in the inside than the outside," kind of vibe. As long as you take care of this car, it will last you a good long time. This 2008 mode... (more)
Story
I seriously put my car to the test when I was lost on a major highway looking for a specific place and kept over shooting the exit cause there were so many people on the road. It took me about two hours to North, and then South on I-35, using the U-Turn tunnels to reenter the highway. I had a low tank of gas, no gas station in sight for miles, and it was 100 degrees out at the time. I was tryi... (more)
Pros
This car can squeeze into tight parking spots, as well as has a good turning radius. So when you are making those U-turns you won't hit the curb! I've tested this many times. It has a simple design for the dash, it doesn't feel outdated, and is easy to use and understand. No button guessing and pushing to know what a feature does. The gas mileage is a plus. If I actually do the math I could tell you more, but I only need to fill up every week to week and a half, and I travel about 40 miles total every week day, and then some when I have to run errands. Also, when needing any tune up, it is... (more)
Cons
The biggest thing that I dislike, is that the air conditioner is only in the front two seats. No air flow in the back. Terrible for hot summers in the south, and when you have passengers who sit back there. There was several issues with the car stuttering and having to replace the ignition coils. It was a bit frightening when you would be stopped at a light and the car would jerk. You would then have to turn the A/C off and wait until you were going again to turn the A/C back on so the car wouldn't jerk anymore. I also had a problem with the spark plugs. Every three months I had to replace... (more)

While this car is definitely the best car that I have ever owned, I don't think I would buy it again. I love the style of the car. I love the color. I love the quality of the car. The only thing that I don't like about my car is that it is so low to the ground that the bottom often scrapes when I go over bumps. My car has almost 70,000 miles on it and I have never ever had a major problem with my car. I get oil changes whenever it tells me it is needed. I love that aspect of the car as well. I don't have to keep track of when it needs oil changes. The only things that I have ever had to do is change the battery a few times and regular maintenance. I am so grateful for my car. I love that it has such great gas mileage. I love that I can park in small parking spaces. I love that it has p... (more)
Story
I remember driving my friends to an activity shortly after I purchased my car. I named my car Bruce. I asked if everyone could feel the air conditioner and everybody could. Someone said that is because the car is so well-made. It made me love my car even more.
Pros
I really love that I have never had any major problem with my car since I bought it 7 years ago. The engine is of extremely good quality. I love the speaker system. It plays good music. I love the cruise control. I love the color, silver with black seats. I love the way it looks. The design is great. The air conditioner works very well to cool everyone off. The value decreases slowly compared to other cars of a similar style because it is so well built.
Cons
The one thing I don't like is that I feel that it is too low to the ground. The bottom scrapes often while going into driveways that are a little steep unless I go in at an angle. I feel like the scraping causes damage to the body of the car. Also, the seats are not completely comfortable when taking road trips.
