I recently purchased my Honda Fit about a week ago, and I couldn't be more happy with its quality. It drives incredibly smooth and is decently fast for a fuel efficient vehicle. I spend half as much on gas now than I did with my previous vehicle, a 2009 Nissan Altima. I was interested in the vehicle initially because of way the seats fold up and down. I have three dogs, and I don't particularly want them riding on my seats, so this is a great alternative. I have two different options on how they can ride in my vehicle without damaging my seats. The bottom of the seats fold up, and they can ride on the floor or the back of the seats fold down, and they can ride on the back of the seats.
Story
I had the vehicle parked in the parking lot at my place of an employment, and I overhead someone talking about how awesome they thought it was. They said to another employee, "Did you just get a new car?" to which they replied "No." So they said, "Oh.. well someone just got a new purple Honda Fit, and it is so cute!" I told them it was mine, but it was so exciting to hear someone talk about ho... (more)
Pros
The smart key entry is very advanced, I love how simple it is to lock and unlock the vehicle. I enjoy having a back-up camera and a blind spot camera as well. It helps me feel more safe while driving. It looks really small on the outside, but it's very roomy on the inside. Also, the overall control of the vehicle is beyond amazing. The way it shifts, accelerates and brakes are all great.
Cons
The only negative for me is that the only way to open the hatchback is by pressing the button on the actual hatchback. It may be a bit easier to have a button on the key fob or even on the inside of the vehicle similar to a trunk release.

We purchased a Honda Fit about six months ago. My husband and I were pleased with the price, since we are on a tight budget. Since I am the primary driver of the car, I needed reliable transportation but not size or a bunch of bells and whistles. The Honda Fit takes care of my needs. The Fit is a nice-looking car that gets excellent gas mileage and surprisingly has plenty of room. It is well-built and aerodynamic. I have had no issues with anything mechanical or electronic. Overall, it is a high-quality car.
Story
Living in the South, people here like huge pick-up trucks and big SUVs. Not anything wrong with that if that's what you want, but I like the size of the Fit. So at church, one of my friends said that my new car looked like a "marshmallow on a roller skate" (it is a white car). I got a kick out of that.
Pros
I am amazed at the gas mileage; I have consistently gotten 40 mpg or higher just on my in-city driving. That saves me a ton on gas! There is plenty of power in the acceleration. The turning radius is amazing! Great for making a U-turn. Another feature is how I can configure the seats so I can carry oddly shaped things in the back seat. I enjoy having the moon roof -- a feature I have never had. The most amazing feature is the back-up camera! This is a safety feature that now I can't live without. Lastly, it is very sporty looking.
Cons
The only real negative so far is learning the electronic features. This has taken me a while, since I am a baby boomer and we don't expect everything to be on a computer screen. But I am gradually learning these features. I have no need to call anyone with voice-activation. That is just not how I roll.
