Solidly-built vehicle that maintains its value
One of the things I liked from the moment I got in for the test drive was that this car does not feel like a hunk of cheap plastic like many other cars in the same price range often can. And it's not just the way the car feels but how it actually performs; I took several hits from a functionally impaired driver in a large truck (a big initial impact and then several smaller ones as he attempted to drive through/over me) and the car body held up amazingly well with relatively minor damage (I expected it to be totaled). The other features also stack up well; the car has a cruise control which was a feature similar cars did not have at the time. In addition it has a CD player that can play MP3 formatted disks, an auxiliary input, and a USB input that ACTUALLY WORKS. So many USB inputs in cars just function like a glorified auxiliary input but in the Fit, the many different devices I have tried all work and allow you to control them from the car's console. I also enjoy the ample storage space in the car; there are two glove boxes up front with plenty of room. In addition, the back seats fold down very easily (the headrests collapse into the seat unlike other designs where you have to remove them) and give you the storage capacity of a small pickup. Performance-wise the car is definitely not a speed machine although when you floor it you can tell that it is a Honda... For a four-cylinder it doesn't do half bad. The ride is smooth and the visibility out of the car is SUPERB, which a lot of people don't appreciate but really comes in handy in a hectic driving environment like a big city. In addition I have been saved a few times by the traction control in the heavy Florida rains.

The Honda Fit fits your life!
I love my Honda Fit! It has been super reliable while I have been in college. It's seemingly a small car, but it fits a whole lot! I've moved into and out of a dorm/apartment probably a dozen times and have been able to fit every single thing that I've needed in the car. I've literally fit my entire life in the car multiple times! I travel often (driving for two hours at a time) through rural roads to get home, and I have never had any issues with the car suddenly breaking down in the middle of nowhere. Since I always do the regular maintenance on my car, my car has treated me well. I have about 150,000 miles on the car, and I haven't seen any change in it's performance thus far. The only problems that I've had with the car are the TPMS sensor always being on and the fact that the AC/heat only work on the highest setting. These aren't deal breakers for me and are likely fixable, but I haven't pursued getting them fix. The Honda Fit is an attractive looking car that kind of reminds me of a station wagon. My car came with the factory paint job that makes the car look blue or purple depending on the light and it is beautiful! The interior has fabric seats that are fairly comfortable, but they definitely don't ease my neck pain while I am driving for long distances. The stereo system on the Honda Fit is also great. I blast my music loud using an AUX cord and have never had an issues with a speaker bursting or connectivity. I think the Honda Fit would be perfect for a college student like me or someone who needed a reliable car to commute long distances in. It's affordable, great on gas mileage, will fit all of your belongings, and is a joy to ride in. It is a basic car that will safely get you where you need to go. I truly do love it!

They answered all of my questions and didn't pressure me into buying anything. A salesman was waiting and ready when i needed them, but didn't seem overly pushy about the cars. Once I decided on the car that I wanted, a salesman stayed with me the entire time until all of the paperwork was completed.
