love it!!
I only have owned the 2009 Kia Optima for approximately 3 weeks. I love the look of the car, it handles beautifully. When we first purchased the car it was having issues with the transmission, it was having a lot of difficulty down shifting when you reached about 20 miles per hour. It was quite an easy fix though, just needed a software upgrade. It gets 32 mpg highway, which I think is pretty amazing. It came with Sirius radio installed, which my kids love. My kids also like that there is a fold down table top in the middle seat in the rear, with two cup holders. The trunk is pretty spacious, the back seats can fold down to allow trunk space, if needed. It has tilt steering wheel, anti lock brakes, power windows and power locks.

A reliable and fun car to own.
I really like my Kia. There are however a few things that I don't like about it. It is a reliable car that has not given me any problems in over six years. I feel like I am safe on the road. The car has plenty of pick up and go, and also brakes well. One draw back is lack of features. Maybe I should have paid more for a better model. I would recommend this car to a friend. I have had a few cosmetic issues that were easily fixed.
I have learned on lesson in buying a car and that is to spend the extra money on upgrades. I did not spend a lot of money on upgrades for this car and I really regret that now. The car is comfortable for normal rides, but the seats become uncomfortable on long rides. The cars has good gas mileage. The warranty that came with the car is really good. Going to the dealership for maintenance can be expensive. The satellite radio that came with the car is a nice feature. Someone once hit my bumper and cracked their light and didn't put a scratch on my car. That shows you how well built the car is. The issues I have with the car are minor enough that I would buy the same model again, only this time I would get it fully loaded.

Great family car!!
My vehicle is a silver, 2009 Kia Optima. We bought it new, because it was less expensive than other cars, and it's a very sharp-looking car. It looked more expensive than it was. It's a four cylinder, so it's great on gas mileage. It drives really well in the snow. The interior is black and has a luxury look and feel to it. It's a classy looking car that is perfect for a family of four or five as there is a lot of room to sit comfortably in the back seat. The rearview mirror is awesome, because it changes automatically for night vision. There is a digital compass inside the mirror that is a little "James Bond" looking to me, lol. The back seat folds down, which is convenient for hauling things like two by fours or bikes, if you need to. There is a console that folds down in the center of the backseat for passengers to put a cup if they have a drink. Also, there is an air conditioning vent for the back seat, which is really nice.
