A reliable and fun car to own.
I really like my Kia. There are however a few things that I don't like about it. It is a reliable car that has not given me any problems in over six years. I feel like I am safe on the road. The car has plenty of pick up and go, and also brakes well. One draw back is lack of features. Maybe I should have paid more for a better model. I would recommend this car to a friend. I have had a few cosmetic issues that were easily fixed. I have learned on lesson in buying a car and that is to spend the extra money on upgrades. I did not spend a lot of money on upgrades for this car and I really regret that now. The car is comfortable for normal rides, but the seats become uncomfortable on long rides. The cars has good gas mileage. The warranty that came with the car is really good. Going to the dealership for maintenance can be expensive. The satellite radio that came with the car is a nice feature. Someone once hit my bumper and cracked their light and didn't put a scratch on my car. That shows you how well built the car is. The issues I have with the car are minor enough that I would buy the same model again, only this time I would get it fully loaded.

Leaves you with a broken heart, wallet, and engine.
This car lasted for almost exactly ten years and 100,000 miles and then it just died. Before that, a number of things broke on the car including: the cruise control, the CD player, the glove compartment hinge, the locking mechanism on the center console, the driver's side door handle, just to name a few. Also, the car's engine died unexpectedly. It drove fine for the most part. I never had any transmission issues, and it seemed to do fine on gas. It wasn't a beautiful car or a fun car to drive, but it did the job. I used to take the car on long distance trips and even took it up into the mountains on a sketchy AWD-type surface. It survived, but it definitely is not AWD (they don't advertise it to be - I'm just stating it's not capable of it.) I always felt like it was a large car, but I consistently had trouble fitting larger items in the car. Even folding the back seats down and going through the trunk proved challenging. There also seemed to be an airbag in the front driver's side by the windshield that seemed to block my view and prevented me from seeing pedestrians easily. Speaking of airbags, the airbag light came on at some point and never went off for some reason. Just loads and loads of issues with this car. However, the A/C was never a problem. It always blew freezing cold air when needed.
