It's just a great little car for getting around town. For being a subcompact, the interior is surprisingly roomy, and with the rear seat folded down, you can pack a whole lot of stuff in the back. The interior is basic, about what you'd expect from a car that only cost 16k, but it's very comfortable without leather seats. Although as mentioned, it's a low-cost car. It has very features as standard. It has six airbags and pyrotechnically operated seatbelt pretensioners and an UHSS passenger compartment safety cage for excellent crash protection. The engine is superb. I could hardly hear or feel it at idle with plenty of pick up in such a lightweight vehicle. It's the first car I've ever owned that didn't have something major go wrong with it in the first year, and after 4.5 years of own... (more)
Story
Some of the guys in the neighborhood gave me a smack about how uncool I was after I sold my old (cool) car and got the Kia.
Pros
Long warranty. Reliable operation. Well powered. Great gas mileage 30/35. Roomy. Safe for its size. Good standard features. Cheap.
Cons
It's small. Rearview visibility isn't the best. It's uncool, only half a step above a minivan.

I really enjoy this car, it is a stick shift and gets great gas mileage. I like that the seats fold down and we can haul things easier in it. I have driven it on road trips and it is comfortable even for up to 5 hours at a time. Air works great keeps the car nice and cool even in South Carolina's hot summers. The only down side is that we can't haul lumber or really big things in it, also the backseat is cramped for an adult to ride in
Story
I remember when we first bought it that my husband and I didn't know how to drive a stick shift. It was fun going out around the neighborhood together learning how to drive it.
Pros
I love the satellite radio and the great gas mileage. I like how even when you are in it for a long time it is still comfortable and that with the air on it cools down really quickly
Cons
No cruise control because it is a stick shift. It isn't very comfortable for adults to ride in the backseat because of the limited leg room
