I own a 2014 Lexus CT which replaced my 2012 Lexus CT. I was looking for a car that got great mileage but had some style and this fit my needs. I had considered the Prius but it was not very appealing to me. Plus once I added all the upgrades the price was not too far off. Lexus also gives a longer warrantee on the car. I really like the look of the car as there is nothing else on the road like it. The dashboard is tight at very functional. I am a short person and I like the tight feel of the dash and cabin so it works well for me. My first CT was a gold yellow color and I did get lots of looks, my new one is black is very sleek looking. The car is so quiet to drive because it is a hybrid. This took me some getting used to. It handles well but does sit low to the ground. Other than reg... (more)
Story
I liked it so much I traded it in for the same car!
Pros
The gas mileage is fantastic - averages 40 MPG Fun to look at Drive smoothly and with no road noise Love the dashboard and interior styling All seats fold down so a good amount of room for moving things
Cons
Little leg room in back Sits low to the ground which may not be for everyone Small trunk A bit pricey

The car overall is a little over a year old but it still runs like the day I got it. Performance is still great. The build is very well made. After driving it over rough terrain, I still have not heard a rattle or had any problems with either the outside or inside of the car. The interior is very luxurious and still continues to hold well after a year. I opted out of the navigation package but the stereo works just as well.
Story
I went camping with my Lexus for the weekend with a couple of my good friends. The day we got there, it was pouring rain so we couldn't set up the tent without it getting all wet so we decided to sleep in the back of my car while storing the gear in another area. It was unusual at first but it turned out to be a pretty good time.
Pros
A few of the things I love about my Lexus is how comfortable it can be over long drives. Its a hatch so I am able to fold down the seats for more space for things such as camping gear. What I also love is the MPG rating for such a car. I originally thought I would have to spend more than I had to but surprising I haven't.
Cons
There weren't a lot of negative things I could find about my Lexus. The shifter was a bit unusual to get used to but you get the hang of it eventually. The oil change for the car was a little bit more pricier than I had imagined it to be but still worth it overall. Lastly, the bulb on the left side of my headlights shot out about 7 months in (not sure why) but the cost of replacing a bulb was unexpectedly high. Just make sure you know the maintenance cost before purchasing.

The Lexus CT 200h is an entry level Lexus Hybrid. Think of it as a more powerful, more luxurious, better looking Toyota Prius. One of the most impressive features about the CT over the Prius is the Sport Mode. Sport Mode allows you to get the extra power that is usually absent from most other Hybrids, while still maintaining excellent fuel economy.
Story
Probably the day I discovered sport mode. When I originally purchased the vehicle, I had the mentality that I would drive in ECO mode all the time and save tons of gas. One issue with using ECO mode all the time, is that you severely lake power (i.e. acceleration). It took me nearly 3 months to try sport mode for the first time, and I was blown away by the difference in power that you get goi... (more)
Pros
First off, the obvious - fuel economy. You can expect around 38 (in town) and mid 40's on the highway. The looks are also a huge plus. Personally, I think it is one of the best looking Hybrids on the market. Another feature, which I don't think is unique to the CT, is the infotainment/GPS system. The system works great and is user friendly, but the most satisfying feature is the way the drive interfaces with it. You have this toggle-like mouse located on the center console that you use to control a mouse on your dash mounted infotainment display. This is incredibly convenient and also allo... (more)
Cons
Honestly, I think the only con I can think of is the size. While it is a a four-seater, it is definitely lacking some interior space. Although headroom is not a problem.
