This car is very reliable. I recently had to replace the battery, but it was well over due for that. It has not had any mechanical issues at all. I feel like this car is safe as well. I have three children and I have no concerns about traveling with them. Performance wise, the acceleration is great, and I can easily pass cars. It maneuvers well, but the turning radius is surprisingly wide for this size car, and if I had one bad thing to say about the vehicle, that would be it. The trunk is of a nice size, and I have no storage issues. The stereo system is pretty good. I like to have nice bass, but I'm also not looking for something to rattle the whole car. This Lexus does well in that regard. I have a sunroof on my car, and it has no leaks and still works great, even with three kids wh... (more)
Story
My oldest daughter is learning to drive in this car. We've had plenty of close calls with curbs, and I will remember this experience with her forever.
Pros
Acceleration of the vehicle, the trunk size and the stereo sounds good. and the comfortable seats.
Cons
Turning radius

This vehicle is an absolute wonderful car. I've used it to drive cross-country and I've used it for an every day commute car. No matter what, this car has never disappointed me. I get compliments on this car almost wherever I take it. It is a sedan and it's has accommodated my entire family. It has gotten us everywhere we've needed to go safely.
Story
I took this car all the way from Texas to Alabama. The strong leather withstood the heat and did not get too hot under our buns. It was so much fun and through the rain, heat and wind the car held up nicely.
Pros
One of my favorite things about the car is the awesome paint job. It is a smooth and beautiful black that shines in the sun. You can see your reflection in it whenever you pass by. The interior of the car is leather and is very strong. Many kids have dropped liquids in it, but it has never stained the leather. My nugget is that I've had my cat in this car many times with sharp claws and the leather has withstood those trips! Also, the car has the smoothest ride I've ever had.
Cons
I cannot think of any negative thing about this car. I did get nervous when they had recalls on Toyota products because of the brakes. However, I never had a problem with the brakes on this car.

So I initially had a Honda Accord. It was not a bad car, but it definitely had its issues. It would really have transmission issues and ran not too smooth. So I ended up selling it. I then got a Lexus Es300, and boy was it the best car purchase ever. It is so darn smooth, and I love all the features it has considering how old of a car it is. It has heated seats, great when it is cold like Minnesota. It has HID lights. A lot of newer cars don't have this feature in them. It also has a tremendous sound system, like the bass is kicking like wow my god. The first one I bought had 150k miles, and I paid 3800 for it. It got totaled by a deer and I received 7k in insurance money for it, so they definitely retain their value for sure. I turned around and bought the same model for $4,500 with o... (more)
Story
I was driving around and some random person asked whether or not I was selling my car since it looked so shiny and fancy. They were shocked to hear how old it was and that they thought it was a much newer car. Additionally, I went to test drive new models and found my car drove just as smooth as the other ones.
Pros
Heated seats, HID lights, reliable, smooth, and the stereo goes boom
Cons
Sludge issue, strut problems, oil leaks, and not too fast
