2015 Lexus GX 460 - Great
A traditional midsize SUV with three rows of seating, the 2016 Lexus GX 460 is capable off-road, yet manages to coddle its occupants on pavement. Still, most luxury crossover SUVs offer better on-road performance and passenger comfort. The Lexus GX 460 is essentially unchanged. The GX's sole engine is a 301-horsepower, 4.6-liter V-8 that works with a six-speed automatic transmission, and the engine is tasked with moving about 5,200 pounds of SUV. The GX doesn't feel underpowered, but it's wise to plan your high-speed passes so you have plenty of space to make them. On the highway, the GX cruises easily at 70 mph and the cabin is relatively quiet.
Story
Whenever I ride this with my friends they tease me saying I look like James Bond.
Pros
Capable off-road performer and plenty of luxury features.
Cons
Uncomfortable second-row seats; inconvenient side-swinging cargo door; V8's lackluster acceleration and poor fuel economy; relatively ponderous handling.
2015 Lexus GX 460 - Good car
Story
The fun story is when I went off-roading. It can go on any big rocks and mountain without any issues.
Pros
This car has surprisingly good visibility all around because of the generous glass area, low door sills, good-sized mirrors and a large camera screen. The pros include the strong and silent engine, the quiet and smooth ride, very smooth V-8, excellent traction in bad weather conditions, Lexus-standard luxury options, including a nice stereo system. Power seat and power steering.
Cons
Cons are very small cargo space behind third row, and it would be a nice to have Apple CarPlay.
