Handling is a focus now, and even the base GS sedans seem to plant themselves more firmly. The F Sport package dials in electric steering as good as any German brand luxosedan, with the same near-zero tolerance for potholes in ride quality.
Story
I went to hills station trip with my family. I really enjoy that trip with my son.
Pros
Standard equipment includes a moon roof, push-button start, a 12 speaker surround sound stereo, a USB port, Bluetooth, satellite radio, a rear view camera, blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert and an infotainment system with an 8 inch display and Lexus’ Remote Touch controller, which is similar to a computer mouse and is used to access audio and navigation settings. Optional features include a head-up display, a navigation system with a 12.3 inch display, a Mark Levinson 17 speaker surround-sound audio system, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with collision... Cons
Spent almost $80 k for a car that after 4 yrs, the upgraded Mark Levinson amplifier went dead. Price for new amp is $3000. This is ridiculous and poor craftsmanship.

I have had the Lexus GS 300 for about 7 years now, and have put at least 100, 000 miles on it. So far, it has given me zero problems engine wise in the entire time I've owned it. It's always run great, and I expect it to run great for some time still. The only problem that has started to wear on the car is the locks on one side have to be manually locked, they no longer lock by just putting the key in the door and locking it, maybe something fried over the time that I've owned the car. Other than the general wear and tear, some scratches ( oops) on my part and the paint has faded some from sitting out in the sun under the California air. Plus the headlights have fogged up some too. I have taken okay care of the car, mainly changing the oil it really hasn't required anything more than t... (more)
Pros
The low maintenance
Cons
Paint doesn't last

I bought this car when it was 8 years old but it only had 30,000 miles. it was nothing but problems, water pump needed replaced, radiator needed replacing, brakes needed repairs,3 window motors burnt out, Lots of electrical problems, check engine light was on. It was hard to fix and expensive. I did change the oil often and kept up with maintenance. The last straw was when the transmission had major problems. It got traded off after that.
Story
I took it on a road trip to Florida after I bought it, and lucky it was mostly trouble free.
Pros
It was comfortable, had good power, looked nice.
Cons
Lots of electrical and mechanical problems.
