Comfortable luxury interior with all the bells and whistles, GPS, satellite radio, heated seats, Bluetooth, dual climate controls. This car's all wheel drive was better in snow than my previous 4-wheel drive. 179K miles and I've only had to replace break pads twice. Never had to resurface rotors like I've always had to do in past vehicles. Only repairs in 179k miles have been regular maintenance, oil changes, etc. And new shocks at 150k. With the seats down in the back the cargo space is excellent. I have hauled bricks for the yard, furniture, camping equipment, dogs, etc. And there was always plenty of room. The actual buying experience was my best experience ever at a dealership. The actual purchase price was less than I had asked for. There were no games and the contract was ex... (more)
Story
I have taken this car off-road to get to hidden places on our lake and river. Friends tell me I am the only one they know that will take a Lexus off-road. This car handles just as good as my 4-Runner with the exception of the high clearance. I have also traveled up the mountain passing cars stranded in the snow while my little RX250 putts write up there on the snow packed roads like nothing is... (more)
Pros
It's comfortable and has all of the luxury items you would want in a vehicle. The cargo space is very very large. It has a very comfortable ride on long distance trips and excellent mpg. It is superior in snowy conditions. You can get service at a Toyota dealership and receive actual Lexus parts at Toyota pricing.
Cons
The Lexus dealership tends to push maintenance items that are not really necessary based on your mileage and not on actual wear and tear. I only use Lexus during early part of the warranty but switched to Toyota because the service is covered under warranty but is half the price. There were no cons related to the vehicle itself.

The 2008 Lexus RX350 is a very well-built vehicle. It had just over 100,000 miles when we purchased it, and it still has an extremely quiet and smooth ride. The gauges and controls are all well located for the driver's ease. The seats are very comfortable and are highly adjustable. The heated seats work very well and are welcomed on cold winter days. The interior is well-fitted and luxurious looking. There's plenty of cargo space, and the rear seats can be folded down to offer even more. We really like the fact that it has dual-control air conditioning for the driver and front passenger. The rear passenger seats are very comfortable. The rear area heats and cools quickly for passenger's comfort. There are plenty of areas to put personal items in both front and rear. The back-up camer... (more)
