Comfortable luxury interior with all the bells and whistles, GPS, satellite radio, heated seats, Bluetooth, dual climate controls. This car's all wheel drive was better in snow than my previous 4-wheel drive. 179K miles and I've only had to replace break pads twice. Never had to resurface rotors like I've always had to do in past vehicles. Only repairs in 179k miles have been regular maintenance, oil changes, etc. And new shocks at 150k. With the seats down in the back the cargo space is excellent. I have hauled bricks for the yard, furniture, camping equipment, dogs, etc. And there was always plenty of room. The actual buying experience was my best experience ever at a dealership. The actual purchase price was less than I had asked for. There were no games and the contract was ex... (more)

I have taken this car off-road to get to hidden places on our lake and river. Friends tell me I am the only one they know that will take a Lexus off-road. This car handles just as good as my 4-Runner with the exception of the high clearance. I have also traveled up the mountain passing cars stranded in the snow while my little RX250 putts write up there on the snow packed roads like nothing is... (more)
Pros
It's comfortable and has all of the luxury items you would want in a vehicle. The cargo space is very very large. It has a very comfortable ride on long distance trips and excellent mpg. It is superior in snowy conditions. You can get service at a Toyota dealership and receive actual Lexus parts at Toyota pricing.
Cons
The Lexus dealership tends to push maintenance items that are not really necessary based on your mileage and not on actual wear and tear. I only use Lexus during early part of the warranty but switched to Toyota because the service is covered under warranty but is half the price. There were no cons related to the vehicle itself.

The quality of this vehicle is exceptional and high end. I have experienced no major issues and I have driven over 200,000 miles. The interior is high quality, and has held up well over time. There are lots of bells and whistles in this car to include a high-end sound system and easy to use navigational system. Being a hybrid, this SUV gets the same gas mileage as a small sedan. One of its several pluses is that it drives better in the city than on the highway. With heated seats, blue-tooth capabilities, and seats that fold completely down making it easy to turn this luxurious vehicle into a work horse, this car is not only fun to drive, it is super convenient. I have done everything from move furniture to my new home to loading up three snowboards for a winter getaway in the mounta... (more)

I once fit an entire futon in the back of my vehicle, as well as a 90 inch mirror but I would say my most memorable times in the vehicle is going on snowboard excursions with my friends. It's pretty cool knowing that I have a vehicle that can fit four passengers and all of our snowboard equipment without having to use a roof rack.
Pros
The top positive features of this car are its reliability and stability. I purchased brand new in 2007 and have had no major issues with the vehicle. This has made it very easy to own and financially manageable. I also like the navigational system. Having traveled in many vehicles with different types of systems, I find the navigation system in this vehicle very user friendly and easy to use. This car also has a lot of custom settings that up to three drivers can personally set for their preferences. These settings include but are not limited to temperature, seat settings, screen colors, m... (more)
Cons
Having driven this car for over nine years, I do not have any cons with it. If I had to pick a few I would say the leather in the back seats sometimes squeak but this is easily remedied by putting down the center console which actually looks pretty cool. I would also say that not being able to pick the voice of the navigational system could be a con if we were nit-picking.
