2016 Lexus RX 350 - Lexus RX350 - fun sophistication
I've leased this car for almost two years, and it one hell of a smooth ride! Instant luxury as soon as you enter the vehicle. The leather seats, the wood paneling, sunroof, and upscaled technology.
Story
Opening the full sunroof (the ones that go back all the way to the back seat), my kids were able to watch a thunderstorm while we were traveling and driving at night.
Pros
But more than just a 'pretty face,' this vehicle has superb performance and is still insanely smooth 25,000 in! As a mom, this a great vehicle - not too big, not too small. The added features of 360 camera, speed display on window, and safety technology make me feel so safe when driving my two small kids around town.
Cons
Within weeks of leasing the RX 350, there were a couple of (small) things I should have considered. 1) Trunk space. We are a traveling family, and the trunk space appears rather spacey, but when closing the trunk, it's rather deceiving due to the trunk shape being angled. 2) I really wish I leased a vehicle with a third row. As my children get larger, I am going to want an additional row to accommodate their friends.
2016 Lexus RX 350 - Reliable and comfortable.
Although my opinion was fairly ambivalent towards SUVs and bigger cars, my car is perfect for my needs. It's big enough for ample leg room and doesn't make car rides stuffy. The seats are comfy, and the adjustable seat with three set settings that I can adjust are very helpful for the multiple drivers in my family.
Story
I don't really have any memorable stories. All I can really say about this car is that it is very reliable and worth the money spent to buy it.
Pros
The fact that there are lights on the side mirrors telling me if a car is in a blind spot was a huge pro when getting this car. Although I am still careful to over my shoulder, the lights are very helpful for when I can only spare a quick glance.
Cons
This car is very top heavy, as an SUV. I have, on more than one occasion, turned the wheel sharply and, for a moment, seen my life flash before my eyes as the dread of my car flipping over passed through my mind.
