If you are looking for a quality car that is dependable and has great styling and features, you can't go wrong with a Lexus. In particular, I'm a big fan of the RX series. This, at least in older models, has great, classic, aerodynamic styling (the new models not so much). The interior trim is first class, with great leather, adjustable seats and options that are easy to understand and use. The cabin is quiet, and you never have to worry about outside noise filtering in. And speaking of sound, the radio/audio system offers some of the best sound quality around. I've had this car for a number of years now, and the only reason I have bought a new one yet is because the one I have drives like a new car. But, when the time comes, this is the car I'll be getting.
Pros
Beautifully designed car that is timeless in its styling (at least in the older models). I love an aerodynamically designed vehicle, and the Lexus RX is just that. Smooth, clean lines that make it look like each individual car was hand crafted. Also, the interior is so comfortable you could take a nap inside and think you are in your own bed at home. The snug feel of the sits and the adjustable positions are made for you in the way a fine craftsman would build a chair. The performance is superior, it handles so smoothly and yet offers sports car handling and road hugging ability. I think ... (more)
Cons
When I'm considering the Lexus RX 350, I am a fan... at least of the older models. But, in recent years, the company has redesigned the car changing it from the smooth, aerodynamic look it has long had - and which I loved - to some kind of "Transformer" cartoonish design. It's got this large front grill that looks like a cow-catcher on a train that absorbs a ton of bugs and dirt that is the devil to get and keep clean. In addition, the new design has these sharp edges and bulging tail lights that look like they are just waiting to be cracked or knocked out by the slightest fender bender ... (more)

The quality of this vehicle is exceptional and high end. I have experienced no major issues and I have driven over 200,000 miles. The interior is high quality, and has held up well over time. There are lots of bells and whistles in this car to include a high-end sound system and easy to use navigational system. Being a hybrid, this SUV gets the same gas mileage as a small sedan. One of its several pluses is that it drives better in the city than on the highway. With heated seats, blue-tooth capabilities, and seats that fold completely down making it easy to turn this luxurious vehicle into a work horse, this car is not only fun to drive, it is super convenient. I have done everything from move furniture to my new home to loading up three snowboards for a winter getaway in the mounta... (more)
Story
I once fit an entire futon in the back of my vehicle, as well as a 90 inch mirror but I would say my most memorable times in the vehicle is going on snowboard excursions with my friends. It's pretty cool knowing that I have a vehicle that can fit four passengers and all of our snowboard equipment without having to use a roof rack.
Pros
The top positive features of this car are its reliability and stability. I purchased brand new in 2007 and have had no major issues with the vehicle. This has made it very easy to own and financially manageable. I also like the navigational system. Having traveled in many vehicles with different types of systems, I find the navigation system in this vehicle very user friendly and easy to use. This car also has a lot of custom settings that up to three drivers can personally set for their preferences. These settings include but are not limited to temperature, seat settings, screen colors, m... (more)
Cons
Having driven this car for over nine years, I do not have any cons with it. If I had to pick a few I would say the leather in the back seats sometimes squeak but this is easily remedied by putting down the center console which actually looks pretty cool. I would also say that not being able to pick the voice of the navigational system could be a con if we were nit-picking.
