Car is very clean and nice for its age. Meaning it has held up for a long time. Great build quality. Runs without issues. I like that it is all wheel drive. Helps a lot in the winter time and bad weather conditions. It is very comfortable and gets decent fuel economy. Style is awesome and the 4 doors make it pretty practical. It starts everyday without issue. Compared to other cars I have owned like a Mazda rx-8 and Audi s4, the Lexus destroys them in reliability. I trust it so much that I have taken on multiple long distance trips. The car even came with a first aid kit and a small toolkit that has come handy a couple times already. The car has 130,000 miles and drives like it has half that if not even less. I have owned more than 10 cars and this one is my favorite. It has a great so... (more)
Story
I love drifting it during the winter.
Pros
I like the power and all wheel drive. My favorite feature is the aux cord. It allows me to play my favorite music off my phone. Also I like that this vehicle is so reliable.
Cons
Would be nice if there were more room in the back seats. Other wise this car is perfect.

I love my Lexus IS 250! I have a need for speed, and this car definitely lives up to that need. It accelerates smoothly and, if you're not careful, you'll find yourself going well above the speed limits. It's a sleek and stylish sports car style that is easy on the eyes. The car comes with seat/back warmers and coolers for the two front seats which are awesome for that extra comfort, especially on a cold day, the extra heat from the seat is super satisfying. The rear-view mirror is handy as is the hands free Bluetooth connection for the phone. The car is very responsive, both the gas and the brakes. The keyless fob start and unlock is easy when you have a big purse and can't find your keys.
Story
Lexus has partnerships with many places such as wineries in Napa, CA. Therefore, for owning a Lexus, you get benefits and discounts on wine tastings and wine.
Pros
Though the car is low and it's easy to hit the bumper going up and down driveways, the build is stable and there has been no damage to the front of the car even though it's not a pleasant sound each time. Very spacious interior and trunk space, a lot of things can be carried in the car even though it doesn't seem to hold much. The car takes sharp turns wells. Even on rainy days, I feel secure in the car. When traveling alone, unlocking the car on the driver's side via keyless fob will only unlock the driver's door which is a really good safety precaution.
Cons
The car rides low so going into driveways or over bumps is a bit tricky as to not hit the bumper. Another issue I've had is the rear view camera tends to randomly go out and after some time of relying on it, it makes it a bit troublesome to back up without one. The gas can be costly as it requires 89 (premium gas), so expect to fill the tank at least once a week just for average commuting and more if there's extra destinations. Car comes with GPS which can't be used while driving (understandably for safety), but it does make it difficult when last minute you need directions to where you ne... (more)

Prior to the Lexus IS 250, I had owned an 2004 Acura TL as well as an entry level luxury car. Although I loved the TL, the Lexus is great and has many features and amenities which makes driving it a pleasure. It has all the typical features such as leather seats, heated side mirrors, anti-glare review mirror, bluetooth phone connection, and power everything, but also has many special features that ice the cake. There are regular reminders built-in the dashboard that reminds the driver of tire pressure, oil maintenance, windshield wiper fluids levels, and whether the trunk is open. All the added features make it easier to maintain a car as they are less things to think and worry about.
Story
Had many great times with friends and heading out to events and activities. It's a joy to be in the car just as a passenger as well as it is luxurious and comfortable.
Pros
Some other favorite features of the car which I enjoy are the all wheel drive and built-in navigational system. The car feels heavier and solidly built due to the AWD and help me with having more traction during the winter in the snow or if there are slippery spots in the rain and in general. The navigation is hugely important as I rely on it to get anywhere and everywhere now. The sound system is great and the car controls tight. I like to zip around in it as it feel good to drive. There are also color zones that change on the speedometer while driving. It stays blue up to 80MPH, then tur... (more)
Cons
A few cons that come with owning the Lexus IS 250 are the maintenance. It cast more for gas and oil changes due to requiring premium fuel. The car is has nearly 100,000 miles on it now and there aren't any issues that I've experienced except for one. There was an issue with a coolant leak which made the heating system not work. It required the water pump to be replaced which cost quite a bit, but that has been the only issue so far since I've owned it. Also, the car is small and has less space. The rear seat have barely any legroom for passengers. I call it my 4-door coupe.
