Most reliable vehicle
Car is very clean and nice for its age. Meaning it has held up for a long time. Great build quality. Runs without issues. I like that it is all wheel drive. Helps a lot in the winter time and bad weather conditions. It is very comfortable and gets decent fuel economy. Style is awesome and the 4 doors make it pretty practical. It starts everyday without issue. Compared to other cars I have owned like a Mazda rx-8 and Audi s4, the Lexus destroys them in reliability. I trust it so much that I have taken on multiple long distance trips. The car even came with a first aid kit and a small toolkit that has come handy a couple times already. The car has 130,000 miles and drives like it has half that if not even less. I have owned more than 10 cars and this one is my favorite. It has a great sound system. It also has heated and cooled seats. It also has a sunroof. All the electronics still work after 8 years. It has been the best.

Great everyday car
The Lexus IS250 is an exceptional everyday car. You can easily find a used model that is five-six years older for less than $20,000. Because it essentially contains Toyota parts, the maintenance on the car is relatively inexpensive compared to other "luxury" vehicles. Having driven the car over 25,000 miles now (it already had 25,000 miles on it when I bought it used), I have no had any issues mechanically or electronically with the vehicle. It is stylish and has a nice, leather interior, giving it more a luxury look. The vehicle drives so smooth without much noise at all. Oftentimes, I do not notice that I'm driving above 60 mph because it's such a quiet car. It is not a hybrid, so it's not very environmentally friendly, but the gas mileage is reasonable with 22 mpg for combined city and highway. The car also does not have a rear-end camera, making it a bit frustrating to back out or into parking spots. One of my favorite features is the driver's side and passenger's side seat warmers, which come in handy especially during the winter times. This is easily a car that I can see myself owning for the next five years or more (I have already owned it for three years). I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, durable vehicle that won't break the bank to buy or maintain it.

It's a Lexus.
The IS 250 looks like it should be fun to drive. It replaced the old IS300 that was very sporty. That changed with the newer model. It became soft. All the sporty characteristics were gone. Being a Lexus, the ride quality was terrific. Rode noise was minimal. And reliability was outstanding. Interior space was quite small but is to be expected.
