The 2006 Lexus IS250 AWD is a small car which packs a big punch. Even though the car may be slightly undesirable towards its IS350 counterpart, the IS250 still has enough drive to push you back in your seat. The IS250 is compact, and has a sleek look; a look which has not changed much through the past eight years, giving a six year old car a modern feel. The leather and wood interior of the IS250 are nothing short of superb. The backseat space is lacking, however. For taller individuals over 6 feet, the car may not be for you. The gas mileage is average, about 21 miles city and highway. The car is fun to drive with the sport mode and the paddle shifters. As a Lexus, the maintenance is relatively low as well. Pros
The power of the IS250 is a great upside to the car. Even though it may not have as much power as its counterpart, it still packs a punch. The car is sleek and has great aesthetics. The styling of the model has not changed much over the years, so a 2006 has very minor differences up until the past year or so. Low maintenance costs are also a plus. The interior is very nice as well. AWD comes in handy in the snow as well.
Cons
Gas mileage is average, and could be a little better. The room of the car is a little lacking, and some taller passengers may feel a little uncomfortable squeezed into the small backseat or driving the vehicle. The perforated seats collect dust easily so regular vacuuming is a must.

I like how well it handles and also the power response. It has adequate power while also getting great miles per gallon. I get an average of 24 mpg. The quality of the car is equal to European cars at a discounted price. The handling is very tight and responsive while giving a comfortable and quiet ride inside.

Driving around the beach with the sunroof open and feeling all the fresh air and sunshine with my friends.
Pros
For being a smaller model car there is enough room for 4 adults comfortably. The car gets great mpg and is always reliable. Relatively cheap to fix compared to cars of the same caliber. I enjoy the navigation system and also the heated/air conditioned seats. The paddle shifters make for a fun ride when one desires a more sporty ride. The shifting is smooth for being a 6 speed gearbox and most times the shifting goes unnoticed. The display has all the information one would want or need from a vehicle. And there are plenty of compartments for storage.
Cons
Although the room for passengers is adequate, the truck leaves something to be desired. Other than that I have no qualms about the vehicle.
