Reliable, functional and enjoyable car.
I bought this car in grad school when I was commuting about two hours to school twice a week. Needless to say, I put a lot of miles on my car, and it has been super-reliable. Over the past 8 years, I've put over 80,000 miles on it, and it has held up wonderfully. I've had no major repairs that aren't normal maintenance. Even better, it is just an enjoyable car. It rides smooth and runs well!

A Basic Reliable Car To A Point
This car was my mother's for a number of years, and was then passed on to me. I will only talk about my experiences with it personally. To start, it has had nothing but issues since it has come under my care. The roof is thoroughly rusted, the A/C has continually broken within months of fixing it, the steering has needed to be realigned multiple times, as well as the battery and radio. It served my mother for years but it hasn't served me.

It gets the job done, for the most part
This vehicle was passed down from my mother so it had already had some serious use. Cosmetically, it was deteriorating: the roof and hood had started to rust, the rubber liners were seriously decaying, and the back glass was bubbling. We also immediately had troubles with the A/C and radiator resulting in significant costs with no permanent solution. However, it's only broken down on us once and the A/C is ok aside from leakage into the car, resultant fogging of the windows, and rattling. Gas mileage is great, it drives smoothly, and it's fairly compact.
