Pontiac Grand Prix OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS

I love it, but it gets old quickly.
I really enjoy having my Grand Prix. I've always loved the way the look and their performance specs. When I got it I was not surprised. It was comfortable, pretty roomy, and looked good to be 10 years old. I love my car, but like many other GM vehicles, especially those in the Pontiac brand, they have to be kept up, and require a lot of maintenance. This being my second GM car owned, and the 5th in the family, I can easily tell how the previous owners cared for the car, and I got a bad one.

Very reliable every day car.
This is my third Pontiac Grand Prix and like the rest, this has been a good car. It has a reliable 3800 V6 engine that if taken care of can go well over 200,000 miles. The gas mileage isn't the greatest, especially in the city were it's rating is 16-24 MPG or so. Have not had anything major go wrong while I have owned it. It turned over 100,000 miles recently, and the biggest issue I had was coolant lines to my transmission were leaking. It does get pretty good mileage on the highway, where I have gotten 32 MPG driving to Nebraska frequently. The leather bucket seats are comfortable and the sun roof still works with no leaking. Has a good sound system and the built-in Sirius XM radio is a plus too. Overall this is a very reliable car as long as you do its routine maintenance. One of the best features is the seat warmers. That leather can get cold this time of year and the seat warmers work great.

Grand Prix, 12 years and still running
There are not much durable US cars, but the Pontiac Grand Prix is one of them. In 12 years, I had minimum wear and tear repairs to do on it, and the interior is still very much acceptable.
I like a car to drive, not so much to feel like I am in some kind of cybercafé.
