2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid - Good on gas, and very reliable: the Toyota Camry Hybrid

Overall, the Camry Hybrid is a good car to get from Point A to Point B. If you're only looking for a car (for the sake of a car), I think it's a good choice. It is a hybrid, so it's a little more expensive up front but you can start saving money in 5-7 years, depending on gas prices. So make sure that you'll be owing the car for that long! It has been very reliable - no problems other than the occasional oil change. It might be boring, but if you're okay with that then this is the car for you.
Story
One time we started driving our car, and it started beeping! We didn't know what was happening, and we were in a rush, so we ignored it. Turns out our parking brake was on! Hopefully we didn't damage the car too much...
Pros
Our car has dual air conditioning, meaning that the driver and passengers can select different temperatures. I've run into this a lot, especially when one of us is wearing a long sleeve shirt and the other isn't. I like the styling; it's very sleek and clean. The taillights are also LEDs, which look great in the fog. The car has a nice interior with leather seats.
Cons
I don't like the fit and finish of the vehicle that much. The interior has some defects which you don't notice at first but you'll notice from then on. Some of the panels aren't aligned correctly, and while I don't think the functionality is compromised, it is rather distracting. The car is overall kinda boring; it isn't that exciting compared to other models, like a Mazda. If that's okay with you, though, it shouldn't be a problem.

2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid - It is extremely reliable, but has issues.

I like that it is reliable and I can be sure that it is going to start when I want it to and that it will get me to the location that I need to. I does have plenty of issues though.
Story
When we have a hurricane come through and gas is short at all of the various stations, I know that I will not have to worry about my car running out in that time if I am careful.
Pros
This has been an extremely reliable car. I keep gas in it and go to get it tuned when it tells me to, and I have never even once been concerned that it may not work for me. It saves on gas because it is a hybrid. It has plenty of seating and I never feel cramped.
Cons
It is only a few years old and it starting to have some issues. Every time it rains, it smells damp. The paint has not held up very well at all. The trunk does not have almost any space in it at all, and with the number of trips that I make per year, it is a huge issue. Stains are more or less permanent. I worry that when the battery finally dies that it will be more cost effective to buy a new car.
