I think that this car is absolutely the best fit for me because it gives me the right amount of space without being a huge SUV or a gas guzzler. There are so many times when my friends and I want to load up the car and go for a trip. I am lucky enough to be the owner of a car that has the ability to do this. My Highlander has great steering range and the ability to be a smooth ride regardless if I am on the freeway or on a dirt road.
Story
I drove my Highlander from Los Angeles up to Yosemite National Park and other parks around that area. I felt completely safe and in control of my car during this drive. Especially considering the length of that drive, I think my passengers and I were very comfortable. The car was able to get good gas mileage.
Pros
The best parts about this car is that it can hold up to eight people and not feel over sized. I like the number of outlets and ports that can be used to charge accessories. Bluetooth was a must for me in my new car, and the back up camera is also a great accessory. I really like that it is just the camera without all of the extra lines and noises that get in the way.
Cons
A big dislike about this car is how the middle seat in the second row has to be fully removed to change it into a cup holder and vice versa, I would like it much better if simply just folded down. Another issue that I had was more than once I have pulled off the trim because it was stuck on the grass of the side walk. I do not think that this should be able to be pulled off this easily.

2016 Toyota Highlander - Very good, solid build, and reliable car.

It is one of the best cars I have ever owned. There is virtually no road noise. It feels very safe and sturdy. Even though it is a larger car, the turn radius is still very good, and I can easily U-turn if I need to. It has a lot of leg room, and the trunk is huge.
Story
There is some dirt tracks by where I live, and I went exploring after a big storm. Even though it was muddy and wet, I have no trouble navigating the rough terrain. Didn't get stuck one time and got a great experience checking out some new areas.
Pros
Very safe. Little to no road noise. It offers hands-free Bluetooth options already built in, so it is easy to pair a phone and use it quickly. I really appreciate the option of the third row, as we are a small family but have lots of siblings and other extended family that come visit. One of the things I really like as well is the option of the trunk cover. It is an apparatus that extends a canopy over the contents of the trunk. It allows me to cover (or simply shade) things I do not want to be exposed. Another favorite is the option to open just the trunk window, versus the whole trunk. I... (more)
Cons
The gas mileage could be better, but it is a larger, heavier car, so that is to be expected. The side mirrors are large, which is good, but if you are turning on an downhill street, you have somewhat of a blind spot from it.

The people were friendly and obviously knowledgeable. Aside from that, there were many chairs to sit on while we were waiting for our turn. The open space was also good because even though there were lots of people that day, it didn't feel crowded. Overall, it's a nice place to look for a car. As for prices, it varies. Some were expensive while others were pretty decent. Of course, the cheaper the better but they obviously need to make money as well so it's pretty understandable if I can't exactly get the price I want.
