This is a great car to have a starter car. I got mine for college use and to get me to and from my job. It is surprisingly great on gas mileage and can maneuver greatly on dense city roads. It also is rather spacious for being such a small car I was able to move my entire apartment in a few loads. A great feature is that the hatch floor has a dirt proof/ scratch proof flip over floor so that the carpet does not get to messed up if you go out and get dirty. Some of the disadvantages are that if you are a car nerd like me, this car doesn't offer a lot of room for expansion. Another issue is the car overall is a low end model and doesn't have a lot of the bonuses of most cars such as power doors and windows. Also this particular year has a lot parts that are not common with the other mode... (more)
Story
I used this car in the winter with no studs or chains to get up to the mountain to go snowboarding. This little car is quiet the beast in terms of traction and never really spun out or slipped. It is a worthy winter warrior.
Pros
This car is nice and small which is great of the city. It also is amazing with gas mileage, I hardly ever have to pay for gas compared to most cars. As I mentioned before as well, the interior is actually very big and can fit a lot of things if needed.
Cons
The biggest con is that it is a entry level car and does not have a lot of features you would expect in a modern car such as power locks and windows. Another con is that there is no real performance to the engine, granted its not design to be a sports car. Lastly, this particular year does not offer a lot in terms of upgrades if your interested in 3rd party upgrades.

This has been one of the best cars I could have every imagined owning. I have a family of three children, and we have gone from point A to point B in this car with very little difficulty. I love that it is small, but it is deceptively so. It has more room than one would imagine for being such a compact car. The hatchback and fold down seats allow for extra room if you're needing to haul things, and the car comes with a lot of little extra features such as three glove compartments and ample drink holders. Parking the car is a dream. It fits absolutely everywhere and even places it probably shouldn't. It's a smoother drive than any car I've driven, and it actually has decent pickup for having such a small engine. The best thing about the car is that it is great on gas and repairs have be... (more)
Story
I drove this car on a 8 hour long car trip to Washington DC from Ohio with two adults and three children. It was interesting, but goes to show that the car does have room in it.
Pros
Good on gas, minor repair costs, lots of space for such a small car, fold down seats, hatchback trunk.
Cons
Even though it has lots of space, you will grow out of it if you have children who have to transport all kinds of things like sports equipment. Being such a small car makes for a much more dangerous endeavor if you're driving on a highway. It is hard to find in a parking lot because of its size, and it can be very hard to back out of a parking space if you're wedged between two larger cars.
