This is a very reliable and known car brand. It looks super nice just like some of the top tier designs. Its fuel efficiency is decent when compared to other vehicles, but the other aspects of it make up for what some of the fuel miles might lack. It comes in all sorts of colors and is a spacious vehicle. It is perfect for being the soccer mom or lugging around baggage. The seats fold and I can create space. It's a very safe car, but it is an older model. I like the mdx version since it's a bigger Acura and can drive kids and other passengers around and feel safe. I's upkeeping is rather simple, the standard vehicle, and I have had little issues with engine or brake problems. The car heats and cools very well. In the snow it could be better, but with rainy and light snow conditions, it... (more)
Story
Driving this car to the beach in the summer with the windows down, sun roof down, and my CD player blasting is what makes the car great.
Pros
This vehicle is very standard. The way the car drives is so smooth, and I can really feel in control of the road and my surroundings. Despite not having any back-up cameras or sensors, I am able to get a very good kook at my surroundings with the wide range mirrors on both sides of the car. The navigation screen shows how many miles of fuel I have in my tank before empty, how many current miles per gallon I am achieving and there's even a compass I can follow my direction on. I love these simple features because I'm not overwhelmed with too many details. I know my direction and how much fu... (more)
Cons
Living in cold, icy, snowy winters this car struggles a little bit. In the summer this car runs like a gem. So smooth. In the winter when the temperature drops, this car has difficulty starting unless it has been enclosed in a garage for the night. The defrost is pretty weak relative to other vehicles I have owned, and the heat in the car takes at least fifteen minutes to kick in. The car slides all over the roads, and I never feel like it is completely safe to continue driving in the middle of an unexpected snow storm or even a down pour in rain. The windshield wipers seem to be less than... (more)

This was the first Acura I have owned. I didn't know much about this car before this purchase, but my husband really liked it. After doing a little bit of online review, I realized this could be a really nice family car. At the time we purchased this car, we were planning on expanding our family, so we figured the MDX would be a great option. After test driving the Acura MDX, I fell in love with it. The car drives so nice, and it's so luxurious. I have owned my Acura for five years now, and I absolutely love it. At this point, I think even my kids love it because they are so comfy when we drive.
Story
We took the kids to the zoo and also had some friends with us. Being able to get everyone in the car and using all seven seats, made the ride so much more enjoyable.
Pros
I would says the car feels like a luxury car but still affordable. Some of my favorite features are the GPS, the leather seats ( I have messy kids), the sunroof, and the winter mats to protect the car from dirt and snow. I love how comfortable the car is. The Acura MDX is a reliable car, and I have never had any issues with it.
Cons
The only issue I have is that I wish they made the keyless entry on the 2012 version, because that would make my life so much easier. Also, I wish the truck was easier to open when you have things in your hands ( maybe a button on the bottom or something).
