2020 Acura RLX Owner Ratings & Reviews

2020 Acura RLX - Supremely comfortable, innumerable standard features, NSX-derived hybrid system. Lows aging infotainment system, interior doesn't feel luxurious, nose-heavy handling. The RLX is a fine car as long as its luxury shortcomings are accepted.

The 2020 Acura RLX belongs to a generation that debuted for the 2014 model year. Acura made no major changes for 2020. You might be able to find a similar used vehicle for less money. The 2019 RLX was largely unchanged too, but the 2018 model gained refreshed interior and exterior styling, standard Traffic Jam Assist, and in the gas-only models, a smoother 10-speed automatic transmission in place of the earlier six-speed automatic. If these updates are important to you, shop for a 2018-or-newer model. The seats in both rows are supportive and comfortable even on long trips. However, a large hump eats into legroom for anyone sitting in the rear middle seat.
Story
A solo cross country trek from Vermont to Washington State. In my 20s, my first car and camping gear, I left my job and the girlfriend and embarked on adventure. I meandered through Eastern fall foliage and lakes on a glaciated plateau, explored a massive limestone cave, saw Amish horse drawn carriages, and a relative or two in the Midwest. Passed through busy, traffic laden metropolises in th... (more)
Pros
Supremely comfortable, innumerable standard features, NSX-derived hybrid system.
Cons
The car is plain-looking, so after I bought it, I had my Acura dealer install three body kit options, including "mud flaps", side accents. The biggest complaint is the hard to use navigation system.

The 2020 Acura RLX ranks near the bottom of the luxury large car class. It has outdated infotainment features and a small trunk, and its cabin lacks the opulence of its rivals.
Story
No story.
Pros
Robust powertrain choices. Lots of standard features.
Cons
Outdated infotainment system. Some dull cabin materials.
