There willingness to work with the customer and available staff with excellent knowledge to assist in the sale. They also seemed to genuinely want your business as well as wanted to see you in a vehicle of your desire.

Augusta, GA Driving Tips
Unfortunately, get used to people tail-gating you, and not using their blinkers. It used to really bother me, but now I think the best way to combat it is to drive responsibly, especially around other vehicles, and try to change the culture a little bit at a time, without getting frustrated.
Augusta, GA Buying Tips
I would beware of individual small used car dealerships here. It seems that they are on every corner. There is no particular area where all of the dealers are concentrated, so you're best bet is to look up the dealer you are interested in, and check out their used lot for variety.
Favorite driving memory
My favorite part of driving in Augusta is the clover-leaf style on-ramps and off-ramps that connect I-20, I-520, Bobby Jones Hwy. These highways are relatively empty, for most cities' standards. This allows you to take the curves at a pretty high rate of speed, and gives you a sense of knowing the city like the back of your hand, because it can be difficult for someone who is unfamiliar to have to slow down and read the signs. Augusta is growing, and this interchange looks futuristic and may even be a taste of what's to come in the city's future.
Favorite road
Evans to Locks Rd.. This road is surrounded by really nice houses, has a great walkway along the majority of it, and leads you right to the canal. It can also be used to get around during heavier traffic times. Augusta, which can be sort of a dirty and spread out city, has some gems hidden like Evans to Locks Road.

Augusta, GA Driving Tips
Use GPS for getting around as it really does help, and try to avoid rush hour between 3 pm and 6 pm if at all possible when you aren't sure of where you are going. It will just save you some frustration because the traffic is heavy during those hours.
Augusta, GA Buying Tips
I'm not sure yet. We have been here just over a year and we have a good car.
Favorite driving memory
Augusta is a beautiful city with a lot of history blended with modern commerce. Everything is accessible including hospitals, doctors, stores and schools. I haven't been here long but I haven't seen any city buses. Traffic is heavy due to the presence of the Army base, and that is why my family is here. However, I have found other drivers to be very polite. The day we arrived is my favorite memory. I was in the wrong lane and feeling really frustrated. When I signaled at the last minute to move over two whole lanes, the other drivers let me make the lane changes in time to make my left turn.
Favorite road
Gordon Highway.. Gordon Highway connects to Highway 520 but also to lots of other streets. It is wide and well made. I feel safe on this highway.
