I live in Michigan in a rural area. In the winter my Pacifica performs like no other car I have ever owned. It sits up high enough to get through deep snow, and we get some major drifts in our area. This car plows through anything, I have never been late for work. The quality of the car's build is great. The heavy stature keeps this vehicle on the road in snow, ice, and heavy rains.
Story
I realized last summer that I could fit two kayaks into the car, so it became the go to summer vehicle. We also used the car to take our friends out on road trips and concerts in the summer.
Pros
I bought a fully loaded Pacifica with leather heated seats and driver settings for two people. So when I get into the car I can push the Driver #1 Setting and the seats, side mirrors, and radio automatically adjust to me. Love it. I bought it in navy blue, so the interior is dark with a very classy console and paneling look. Dark color doesn't show scuff marks as well. It is a large car and I can fit large items inside when seats are folded down. I moved my son's dressers, twin bed mattress, and many other items when he went to college. Plus the hatchback door opens automatically with a bu... (more)
Cons
Because of its size, the tires and brakes are larger and a little more expensive than most. The costs are worth the security of this car's performance. There are not as many cons as there are pros. The car is fairly large and does take up more gas than a sedan would.

I bought my Pacifica used in 2009. At the time it had 72,000 miles on it. A great mileage for a car that was already 5 years old. It's lean, sleek design is surprisingly deceptive as the interior is roomy and spacious. The front 2 rows enjoy Captain seats, which is a huge selling point when you have 4 kids sitting in the back vying for leg space. The seats alone make the car comfortable and enjoyable. Add in the 3rd row seat and a family of 6 fits perfectly. The Pacifica comes with a plethora of cup holders, making room for everyone's drink, large and small. The Pacifica gets excellent gas mileage on the highway. It offers a large enough tank that a trip from Arizona to California requires only one fill up along the way. I've taken my Pacifica to California countless numbers of times... (more)
Story
While driving my sons to a Vegas basketball tournament, we stopped at the Hoover Dam to sight see. One of the best parts was being able to lift up the hatch, put the seats down and sit in the back with snacks and drinks watching the fireworks.
Pros
Captain seats in front and 2nd row. Number of cup holders Great gas mileage on the highway Adjustable driver side seat that not only goes forward and back but also up and down
Cons
Not enough storage room in the rear. Lower gas mileage in the city
