A surprise.
I bought this car as I needed a new vehicle for my family. While I had thought about an SUV I ended up with the Pacifica mostly because it was the most van-like SUV I could find. I was thrilled with the list of standard features and my kids loved all the technology that was available. Chrysler knows mini-vans so the little touches such as USB plugs, while not surprising, were very helpful.

Great family car
It doesn't "feel" as much like a minivan when driving it. It handles quite nimbly and is fun to drive. The visibility is quite good. I feel like the blind spots are limited, and of course, the rear back-up camera helps. The vehicle has good crash ratings, and I recommend the blind spot monitoring and the back-up warning for crossing traffic. The vehicle is very flexible in that you can drive a large family around or you can also quickly and easily fold down seats to haul large items. If you have all of the seats filled and needs to stash additional items when traveling on a family vacation, you can use under seat storage in the middle, which can fit all sorts of things (like your camping gear). The people in the rear seats can also control their own climate in the back due to their own separate controls for air and heat. The vehicle has Car Play, which allows you to even use apps like Waze, which is quite nice rather than having to look at a map on your phone while it is balanced precariously in front of the odometer. It also is easy to respond to calls and texts using a button on the steering wheel, which ensures you aren't taking your eyes off the road. The steering wheel buttons also allow you to change the radio station and adjust the volume as well as handle your cruise control.
