A great get around town car
I like the size of the car. This is the first hatch back I have owned and thought it might be too small, but its great when parking. I can easily squeeze into tight parking spots. I drive the freeway everyday and its much easier to get on and off than the larger car I had previously. I like that the gear shift is not in the center console. I love the rear windshield wiper!

Awkward layout
For its overall size, I found the car to be roomy enough. The cargo space in the rear hatchback was the main reason I ended up purchasing. It gets outstanding gas mileage, better than advertised in my experience. It is definitely a city car, though, since acceleration is sluggish and can stutter when gears shift. The placement of power lock button on the center console, practically underneath the brake handle is a huge inconvenience. Additionally, the ONLY lock present on the vehicle is on the driver side door. This particular model did not come with a key fob for remote entry so I literally have to unlock the driver's side door, lean in, press the unlock button, and THEN I can open whichever door I need, including the rear hatch. The audio system is completely proprietary so if you want to change out the stock radio, you have to purchase a custom faceplate to accommodate the climate controls, hazard lights button, and airbag indicators. The car performs well enough, but the overall controls layout and design make even the simplest tasks more cumbersome than necessary. It was purchased second hand as a filler car after I left the military, and while it serves its purpose of getting me to work and to the grocery store, I would not consider purchasing it again in the future.
