My Mazda 5 has been a reliable, economical choice
The modern shape and design of this vehicle give a new twist to the “mini van” concept. I call it my micro-mini van. It looks more like a car than a van and has a much lower profile than typical mini vans. It looks rather sporty and fun. Even though it is smaller than a full sized van, you don’t have to compromise seating at all. It actually seats 6 people and has very comfortable captain chair seating in the front and middle. I love that, similar to most family vans, it has versatile sliding doors on both sides for ease of passengers in and out. It is a 4-cylander, so it gets great gas mileage, at least 28 MPG. There is plenty of room for people and things for travel or a road trip. The performance is great. It turns on a dime, is easy to park and requires only common maintenance. What I loved is that when I first got the car many people admired it and asked me what kind it was and where I got it. It was kind of fun to have a car that other people thought was cool!

Great all around car
I bought this Mazda 5 in 2009 when it was about ten months old. It had very low miles on it. I loved it right away! This is a minivan, however. It is what I came to call a micro-minivan, because unlike full-sized soccer mom minivans, it seems very small on the outside, almost like a mid-sized car. Even though this Mazda 5 van looks small and streamlined on the outside, it is roomy on the inside. You can seat six people, with seat belts, very comfortably in this ride. The two front seats and the two main passenger seats are "captains chair" style with arm rests on both sides, which I find very comfortable. My Mazda 5 is so easy to get in and out of. It's not so high that I'd need a step stool, and yet it's not so low that I'd have to stoop way down either. Its just right. This micro-minivan saves me on gas because it is a four-cylinder engine. I have enjoyed great gas mileage throughout the years. absolutely love the fact that it has a sliding door like most minivans, but it happens to have sliding doors on both sides, a big bonus. That makes loading passengers and things so easy! It has a hatch-style back lift door for convenient loading also. I will mention that one thing I wish was different, is that the body of the car, it's kind of plastic or something...at least the bumpers are. They don't just dent, they tend to crack and shatter. That can be expensive to fix. This car is easy and fun to drive. It turns on a dime and is super easy to park because it has eight windows for good viewing all around. I would say that I love this vehicle, and I plan on driving it as long as possible.
