Midsize fun
The 2.5 liter I4 has plenty of power, and the six-speed automatic, with "Economy" and "Sport" modes is very responsive; but if you're so inclined, there is also a manual mode. For a midsize car, it is plenty spacious, and the seats fold down for even more cargo room. The infotainment system has plenty of options with regards to playing music (and I love music.) You can also make hands-free phone calls, almost as if the person you are talking to is in the car with you. Additionally, there is an optional GPS.

Fast, reliable, well-equipped.
The reason I selected my Mazda 6 was because it was the most well-equipped vehicle for the price point in its category. Other mid-size sedans of other makes were pricing easily $10,000 - $15,000 higher than the Mazda 6 and the Mazda 6 has some of the most up-to-date features in the industry. Mazda is constantly being innovative in the design of their vehicles as well - from sleek design that gives the Mazda 6 a sporty physique unlike other passenger vehicles, to interior/passenger comfort, and fuel economy. All of these features add up to a great vehicle that is perfect for short in-town trips or long-distance road trips. For a 4-cylinder, too, the Mazda 6 gets right up and going from takeoff, cousin to a rally car experience.. My Mazda has the additional feature of being able to switch to sport mode, which creates the sensation of driving a completely different vehicle with its higher gear ratios, and provides a unique driving experience for those times you want to get out and let your hair down a little, in true Mazda "zoom zoom" style. I was even in my first major wreck this past winter (hit ice going over a bridge) in my Mazda 6 and was amazed by its interior integrity; if the outside of the car hadn't been damaged, I would have hardly known I was in an accident, it was that stable inside.
