The truck has been solid. It's the only vehicle I've ever owned that I can say that I want to drive until it can't drive anymore. I've had it for over three years now, and it still drives like it did the day I got it. It has the power to tow a car or pull a boat without getting bogged down, or even feel like it's pulling something. The truck bed isn't huge, but I can easily strap in 3 kayaks, or my entire living rooms furniture. The interior is comfortable. There is plenty of storage in my model, the extended cab. The back seats pop up and have little compartments underneath. Gas mileage was something I was concerned about when I bought the truck, but it has proven to be very good considering it's a truck. And finally, everyone who sees my truck for the first time tells me how much the... (more)
Story
I went down to a local pond to go ice fishing with my brother. I pulled off the lane way a little too far. I did this in my last truck and had to ask the farmer to come down and pull me out with his tractor. I thought I was going to have to do it again, but decided to try it first. The snow was deeper than the tires, so I figured that it wasn't happening, but to my surprise, and to the comical... (more)
Pros
Has a lot of power and drives smooth. I get around 25 MPG, which I think is good for a truck. Has been durable and handles great in the deep snow (I have a 4x4).
Cons
The factory installed sunroof leaks. During my investigation in trying to get it to stop, I found that it is a common problem with these trucks. The factory radio and speakers weren't good. I overhauled the entire system because the sound quality was so poor. There is a rattle when I start it up on cold days or when it has sat for a while. This, upon investigating, is another common problem and apparently will cause no harm.

2008 GMC Canyon - I lke the style of the truck it rides nice.

I like the fact that the truck sits up in the air higher than a car. This truck gets pretty good gas mileage. The truck has always been dependent for us. This truck has an Astro Body box on the back, and that keeps everything nice and dry. Everything in the truck works. It takes no time to get up to speed. When we used a U-Haul to move, it handled it pretty good. It did take a toll on the clutch fan, and we had to get that fixed. It would be nice if the truck were to have power locks. It would be nice if this truck were a little wider than what it is. We have driven the truck over 70,000 miles. The back up camera needs to be fixed; it used to work. Overall, this truck has been real good to us. The box on the back has two doors on the back and one on the side. The could have made it a l... (more)
Story
We had bought a new lawn mower and gas can and put it in the back of the truck for storage. We had a day where we forgot to close the doors on the back of the truck and luckily we only lost our empty brand new gas out of the truck, but the new push mower stayed inside and we were happy.
Pros
Cruise control, air conditioning, and spot mirrors. It has steel bumpers, automatic head lights, and a nice stereo system.
Cons
Manual windows, manual locks, and the cab is too small. The side door on the back is a pain to open. The two back doors can be hard to open when it is really cold out. The back up camera didn't last long, and the brake switch went out on it too soon.
