I have owned my GMX Canyon for just a little over a year now, and it has been the best vehicle I have ever owned. As a Scoutmaster, I need space both inside and out when it comes to a truck, as I haul both scouts and their gear. The interior is roomy, even in the backseat. The truck bed is perfect for my uses and has plenty of open slots to add canoe and bike carrying racks. The interior console (with its touch screen) is outstanding and perfectly placed. Honestly, it is the most comfortable vehicle I have ever driven, let alone truck I have driven. The engine was powerful enough to pull a Sierra out of a snow bank, but the ride is gentle and smooth on the road.
Story
When we went snow camping, one of my assistants got his larger truck stuck in a snow bank. My smaller truck pulled him out of the snow with ease.
Pros
Stereo system is amazing. Four-wheel drive has plenty of power while keeping a smooth ride. The seats are wide and comfortable with plenty of leg room in the front and back.
Cons
The projection system in the touch screen is only available with Apple devices. The cruise control buttons on the steering wheel are where the volume controls should be and the volume controls are where the cruise control buttons should be (I got a ticket once when I mixed these up).

The canyon is an attractive vehicle. Mine has a backseat, so it can hold 5 passengers. The back seat is a bit small, so it could be uncomfortable for an adult, but it is great for kids (or dogs). The canyon has can haul a small trailer or recreational vehicle. So it is good for camping and other sports activities. My husband uses it to haul his motorcycle. All in all, it is a well built sturdy vehicle. It is fun to drive, sturdy, and gets good gas mileage. In fact it is known as very economical with fuel. It is a quiet, safe truck and has all of the qualities that you would look for in a truck.
Story
My husband hitches his motorcycle trailer to it, and we go to bike rallies.
Pros
Attractive, roomy, good for hauling RV's etc.
Cons
Too big at times, not economical as a one person vehicle.
