It's the little things that need improvement
I love the reliable transmission, extended truck bed and crew cab in my 2001 GMC Sierra 2500 HD. The engine has never conked out after 160,000-plus miles. Attending to regular service intervals and oil changes have kept this truck running in perfectly smooth shape. There have been some issues with deteriorating exterior trim, a recall related to the fuel delivery system and a 3-time repeat issue with a rear door lock mechanism not functioning.
