We bought this truck to pull a 5th wheel camper (38 feet), and it has done everything we've asked of it. I didn't want a long truck, so it's the short bed, which meant we had to get a special hitch for the bed to keep the camper from hitting the cab, but it was well worth it. Pulling the camper through the mountains I as surprised to find that it had engine braking as part of the HD towing package. Bonus! The cruise control controls are conveniently located on the steering wheel. And by "conveniently" I mean conveniently. No moving of the hand from normal driving position required. That is a beef I have with cruise on a lot of vehicles: I have to move my hands from normal driving position to make use of it, and I adjust my cruise a lot (when following other vehicles, etc.).
