2014 Kia Forte Koup - Kia Forte Koup Turbo: hidden gem
My 2014 Kia Forte Koup is jam packed with features and fun that you would expect in a luxury sedan and not a compact Kia.`The quality of materials is obviously a bit cheaper than that of an actual luxury vehicle, but it makes up for it by at least looking nice. It comes with a turbocharged engine so it has some get up and go for an economy vehicle. It's also very aesthetically pleasing to look at.
Story
I have met many friends who also enjoy cars because mine catches their eye. It is a very attractive vehicle to most people, regardless if they are an "American muscle" type of person.
Pros
Mine being fully loaded, it has all the bells and whistles. Navigation, sunroof, power folding mirrors, heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel, HID headlights and many more. Being a two-door coupe, you wouldn't think there is much room inside, but the cabin is actually more roomy than my Pontiac G6 sedan that I owned before this vehicle. The trunk is also much larger, which greatly surprised me. Having a turbo engine also allows me to modify the vehicle pretty easily to gain power here and there.
Cons
The top negatives that I noticed when I first got it was how rough of a ride it has. Being a compact car, there isn't much room for a complex and comfortable suspension. That being said, I also bought the sport trim that is said to have a sportier suspension. What I found eased some of the pain there was getting new tires because the factory tires aren't very soft or quiet on the road. The other thing I noticed is the leather seats are not very comfortable. They are actually pretty hard. They are heavily bolstered, but they only hug you in if you're on the bigger side.
