This is a standard, basic car without a lot of bells and whistles; but it really gets the job done. I have put on a lot of miles and, even though the car is older, I haven't had any problems with it. Maintenance is easy and inexpensive. I get good mileage with it, but the gas tank on this car is small! It's a quiet car, which I actually don't quite like, because sometimes when stopped at a light I'm not sure it's still running. The car handles highways well; and it's fantastic on dirt roads (I draw the line at mudding, though). The body has held up really well, especially considering what I put the car through. The interior of the car is not really family-friendly! I am female, and I think the car fits me quite nicely, but a guy might not be as comfortable since the seats are not reall... (more)
Story
It's not really a story, but we have run out of gas multiple times (mostly due to my negligence; I hate small gas tanks!) I think about 10 percent of the time, I am filling the tank from a gas can!
Pros
My Kia is low maintenance. The car handles well, and I truly have not had any large problems with it. It handled a head-on crash quite well, with only minor damage (the explosion of the front bumper was something to behold; and practically no damage to the other vehicle.) I love the sunroof!
Cons
The car is truly not for everyone. It's really a simple car; if you want something flashy, this isn't it. Although a family could make it work, with only two doors it would get tiresome. And quite honestly, I hate the radio. It picks up stations well; it just doesn't PLAY them well.

This car is good quality. I have had it for years, and have not had any major issues. I like that it doesn't break down as frequently as others of its age. I don't like the non-essential feature's quality. Heating and air is spotty, and the CD player broke. These things are minor for me, though, as the car is still in great driving condition. Upholstery has taken a bit of a hit, the drivers seat has a small tear due to the amount of use, but again that is minor.
Story
I have had many great times in this car, but road trips are probably my highlight. I take somewhat local road trips (~2 hours each way) to try fun restaurants or attractions around where I live.
Pros
My favorite things about this car are how long it has lasted, how little maintenance it requires, and how well it holds up. It is a pretty old car at 11 years with just about 200,000 miles on it, and I only have to get routine maintenance done. No big issues have come up! It has been in a few very minor fender benders and while it has a couple of dents, there is no damage to the car that would require any work to be done. I also like the size of the trunk and the back seat; I have been pleasantly surprised on many Target and Ikea trips to find out that the big items I have purchased have f... (more)
Cons
The cons are that the quality of the non-essential features seems to be a bit lower than the quality of the actual car. The CD player has gone out, although the radio still works fine. The blower for the A/C&Heat is somewhat spotty, and runs fine usually, but on especially hot or cold days the A/C&Heat just really trickles out of the vents. The upholstery shows normal wear and tear but is a bit hard to clean.
