I love everything about this car especially how it was my first car. I have had this car for more than 10 years and it is still going! I have been through a lot with this car. I love how it feels when I drive it and how smooth the ride is. It doesn't have all of the features of a newer car but it is still doable. My car does not have navigation because the time that I brought it they were stopping the production for the IS300 to make the newer ones.
Story
Probably being able to drive my friends around when we were in high school.
Pros
The pro is the drive and how smooth the ride feels. It is a sport car so I love the feel of it. I like the small steering wheel which gives you a better grip on it. Since it is a sport car, you are able to take turns quickly and not feel like the car is going to flip over. I feel like the features in this car are pretty basic, so what's not to like about this car!
Cons
The only con thing about this car would be it's small. It is a little small and tight to be carrying 5 passengers or even 4. Most of the time, I am the only one in the car. The most I would normally carry is 2 people. However, it is a sport car so it is expected to be small. Since it is a sport car, it eats a lot of gas! The tank is also small. My tires get worn out pretty quickly too. I had many tire changes with this car.

This was my first car. I loved this car. Everyone loves their first car, no matter how old or new it is. I purchased this car for $20,000 used in 2008. Right away I fell in love with it. It had a six CD changer, which was perfect since I didn't have an iPod at the time. It had a sport mode when I really wanted to take off on the highway or from green lights. I even installed a subwoofer in the trunk to really get things turned up. Of course now that seems somewhat juvenile, but at the time it was one of the best upgrades I could think of. The car had it flaws, but I would do it all over again if put in the same situation.
Story
Ha! Absolute favorite. I was driving with friends to Busch Gardens and I accidentally set my GPS to shortest route. So instead of taking highways, I went all state roads, at night, with no lights. That was kind of freaky. Even scarier during that trip was getting run off the road by a semi while going ~60. I literally had my right two wheels on the grass and left two on the road. Really lucky ... (more)
Pros
My favorite thing right off the bat was the sport mode. Cruising along is fine, but the ability to hit a switch and take off? Awesome. I must have red lined that things a hundred times in the course of the year I owned it. Even though the car was an automatic, it red lined as soon as the pedal hit the floor. Next, six CD changer. This might sound dumb, but with all the CD's I owned (no iPod) this was a lifesaver. I've spend enough time in friend's cars who are always swapping CD's to know how great this feature is. The dash was freaking cool. I believe it was modeled after a watch, and ins... (more)
Cons
Handling is my number one complaint. Straight line? No problem. Making a turn? Here comes a spin out! Ok it wasn't that bad, but it felt like the car didn't have a whole lot of grip when making turns at higher speeds. Shaky steering wheel. This was a pain in the ass. I'm not sure if it was because the car was used, but as soon as I got over 50, hello shaking steering wheel. In fact this was the biggest reason for getting rid of the car. It almost felt at times like the wheel might come flying off if I go too fast. Stick dashboard. I live in Florida, and during the summer while parking in t... (more)
