The 1995 SC300 came in both an automatic and a 5 speed manual. The 1995 was the last year that it came with a manual transmission. The SC utilized the naturally aspirated 2 JZ engine that also came in the Toyota Supra. It is a rear wheel drive car. The car produces approximately 225 hp. The attention to detail in the car is evident by the high quality materials that Lexus used. Unfortunately, the gas mileage is less than ideal for a car of that size.
Story
I managed to fit an entire yurt in the backseat, trunk, and front passenger window of the car. Granted all of the windows were open and the sunroof was also open.
Pros
The car was responsive and handled very well. It is very easy to modify with Supra parts since the two utilize the same parts. It was fun to drive with the stick shift. I also enjoyed that the styling was extremely unique. One of the most unique things about the car is how it was designed. They used a 3D approach and actually modeled the car in clay before the design was finalized.
Cons
The backseat is mostly useless unless you are friends with some midgets. The control panel for the AC unit faded all to black rather quickly. The gas mileage is lower than it should be. I also disliked that they discontinued the stick shift.

I bought the sc300 as a replacement to my Hyundai Sonata. Immediately I was drawn to its stunning two-door, low-to-the-ground design. Now what I didn't know what exactly this car was. We all know what a Toyota Supra is, but do you know about his little brother, the SC300? Yes, are the same platform. The SC300 has the legendary 2jz engine. But what you are getting is a luxury vehicle. The interior has nice leather, sound system, heated seats, auto dimming mirrors, and just about any mid '90s luxury feature you could think of. It is truly a classic '90s luxury coupe.
Story
I remember just taking it for a cruise the first few nights I bought it. Winding around the trees. It was awesome.
Pros
The driving quality is amazing. The suspension is soft and makes driving feel like a breeze. It has a decent amount of pickup on its linear inline 6 engine. The seats are extra comfy. The biggest thing I like about it is the styling. It is a very long car, with a huge hood. It sits low, and has a unique presence.
Cons
It gets 18 mpg and takes premium. As a college student, this hits the wallet, but driving it makes this all seem okay.

1993 Lexus SC 300 - Excellent, I really enjoy it. Works fine.

I like that the vehicle, despite being old when I got it, is still chugging along fine. The engine appears to be running great, despite its high mileage. Additionally, the interior is marvelous, although somewhat hot for the Florida summers. The paint job, especially on the bumpers, is definitely not the best, but isn't much of a big deal, as is. The car handles well and all the mechanical aspects of the machine run to current perfection.
Story
Last week I took the car and a few friends out to the local springs. It was an incredibly fun venture.
Pros
It was extremely cheap for what it is. I bought it for $6,000 used with decently high miles. Here I a 4 years later - and the car hasn't given me much problems at all. Additionally, it's got an incredibly sleek and unique design, perfect for showing off to others. I also really like the unique and cool designs for the cup holders and glove box, within the car, itself.
Cons
Like I said, it's getting somewhat old, and recently there's been a few accessory malfunctions and outages around the car - nothing major, all minor fixes. Recently, the exhaust tips have been sagging lower than usual, and I may need to have them cropped up to prevent any damage as I go over speed bumps and the like. Unfortunately, the car sits extremely low.
