I like the black color of the exterior of my car. I love the body style of the coupe. The interior is grey with white checks. I've never seen this in another car, but it gives it a lot of character. I dislike the fact that the seats are cloth. The pick up of the car is good for a v4. It being supercharged is excellent. I can switch it to winter mode to start in second gear and shift at lower speeds. The automatic lights and mirrors are a plus. The fuel economy is about average or below; I fill up about every 10 days. I have a new stereo system that the car accommodates including a sub in the trunk. The sub takes up about half the trunk space, which isn't very large. There are four seats, and one must move a front seat to access the back, which can be annoying. There are no cupholders i... Story
Driving to new places around Kentucky. There are beautiful mountains and hills all around Kentucky, which include thoroughbreds grazing in pastures. Driving through the countryside is beautiful on the way to places like Cincinnati, etc.
Pros
There are two sunroofs. The trunk opens to the back seats for extra room. Its small. It has winter mode for driving in wet snowy weather. The body style is sleek. The emergency break is on the floor out of the way. Has a cigarette lighter.
Cons
It hydroplanes easily. It has cloth seats. It heats slower than newer vehicles. It shows wear in the interior wherever it is not cloth. Sometimes there are issues with the sensors for the lights where it thinks the lights have gone out. The seats are manually controlled. No trunk button; the lock on it can get stuck.

2002 Mercedes-Benz C-Class - Engine solid but interior failing

The car feels like a tank. Very heavy to drive around but very solid and feels safe for a family car. Gas mileage is low as you would expect from a heavy car like this. Car has been used for low mileage (only 104,000 miles on a 2002 model). The interior has not held up as well as the engine. Various parts of the trim and plastics have been breaking or falling off over the last several years. Very disappointing, even for a entry level luxury model.
Story
Driving down to the beach with the family in the back. We had the baby seat and two adults in the back and another two adults in the front. Tight fit for everyone but had a great day out.
Pros
Feels very safe to drive around. Plenty of room for child seats in the back but angled seats make using the LATCH connections tricky.
Cons
Interior has not held up well with age. Leather armrest had to be replaced within a few years due to discoloration. Lately the trunk latch, door handle, glove compartment handle, and cup holder have all broken or snapped.
