I own a Silver Mercedes Benz C230 4 door sedan. I like the look of my car and the way it drives. It has a luxury feel with great features such as, leather heated seats, a sliding sun roof, and power windows/locks. I like how my car drives smooth and fast when in sport mode. My car drives very good overall in the summer time, but it does not drive very well in the winter, which is biggest reason I dislike my car. Here in IL we get a lot of snow, and my car is lightweight/front wheel drive and does not handle well in the snow. It will slide around like crazy on days where there is snow or ice present. Another con of my Mercedes Benz is that gas is very expensive. My car uses premium gas and has a larger tank, so it a little expensive to fill it up with gas and commute to work. The last c... (more)
Story
I was parked in a Target parking lot and went inside to shop for a few things. When I came out I unlocked my car, but for some reason it didn't open. I kept trying to jiggle the handle, before looking inside the car and realizing it was not my car! I was trying to open a car that looked exactly like my car (same color and model). I was very embarrassed, but laughed about it when I did finally ... (more)

- Heated Leather Seats - Sun Roof - Drives smooth - Lightweight

- It does not drive good in the snow (dangerous) - Expensive on Gas - Expensive Car Repairs - Car Parts aren't always in stock when needed

I bought my Mercedes because I needed a dependable car for winter driving. My car is an automatic and is a four-wheel drive. I like the strength and size of the engine and the fact that it still gets relatively good mileage. The car's looks and styling suit my profession which is financial advisor.
Story
My best feeling is actually about the onboard HUM system which is similar to OnStar. I wasn't sure that the system worked until one day the guy driving in front of me slammed his brakes on really hard very suddenly and, as a result, I had to do the same. The next thing I hear out of the Hum unit is "what is your emergency? what assistance do you need?" That was good.
Pros
Car is wonderful if you drive it only in automatic. Nothing but good things to say. I am often complimented on the cars looks and design.
Cons
It turns out that the cons are what I originally thought were a plus feature; namely the ability of the car to be turned into a standard by what's called slap shift. Up till now, I only drove standard sports cars with six gears. I thought that this would be a great feature, but no! I got used to driving automatic, since I drive often in New York City where you don't want to be messing with gears when you're having to drive defensively at all times. It turned out that it is too easy and often happens when shifting from park to drive that the car goes into standard and starts making a terrib... (more)
