I own an1990 Nissan 240SX that has almost 200,000 miles on it. I have had my ups and downs with it, but I can say I have learned a great deal about what it's like to own an older car. The mechanics of it are rather easy to work on, and with lots of support throughout the internet, pretty much you name it, it has been done. The interior is nothing spectacular, but I will say the 240sx has one of the coolest designed dashboards that I have ever seen. It's rear wheel drive, which can be fun getting tail happy, and having a hatch on the back end makes for some pretty decent visibility. The KA24 motor is robust and reliable for day to day driving; I swear it could run on water :).
Story
Having fun in vacant parking lots, very driver friendly car. Make sure you have spare parts on hand just in case of a mishap.
Pros
Easy to work on, Reliable, has a great reputation.
Cons
Hard to find a clean rust free one, parts are getting a little harder to come by.

2016 Nissan 240SX - It feels smooth ride and easily maintains the steering.

Great car for spirited driving on canyon roads, drifting, and/or circuit driving. Very easy platform to tune and parts galore due to a great aftermarket. It's a fairly fun car to drive! The only drawback would be, since it's a 16-year-old car, you're going to probably want to change out all the bushings or go for fully adjustable units. Gets going quick. Turbo spools up fast and adds that quick power really fast. Great for drifting. Stops fairly quickly as well. With the Walboro fuel pump, gas is dependent on how you drive it. If you drive easy, gas saver. If you like to play a lot, gas guzzler. Has to have premium 91 octane or better. This car is amazingly fun to drive. If you like breaking the rear tires loose, this car is for you.
Story
I take my family on trips with this car. I really enjoy these trips. We reached our destination very quickly. The car ran very smooth ride. No issues while traveling.
Pros
The looks. I like everything about this car. Great fun car/hobby car.
Cons
Having to sort out all the bushings and changing all the old parts. Not good for long trips.
